Just sold out after bout 25-30 minutes. Still pretty rough.

Awesome of them to do this release. Sucks they did it the way they did... just barely missed out. Had him in cart and lost him while trying to checkout. That's life sometimes

I think it is funny that they have released an actual image (#004) of their company looking at the fans each time they release a figure. In return that may as well be a picture of me for every release they make like this. I will not support this format of item release. Every time this pops up there are stories of "It was in my cart and then I lost it". It sucks for the fans and very few EVER make it to actual fans. I saw this when it popped up first thing this morning, could have probably grabbed one or two or whatever the limit is but I won't support it. The majority go to scalpers who load up on these from various accounts, etc., Probably already on Ebay for at least twice the price.

I just couldn't pull the trigger on it. It was available long enough- but in the end it just wasn't must have for me- though i probably SHOULD have picked it up just for a later trade- but I've never really been that kind of collector- lol.

I too passed on this. Just wasn't that crazy about a giant cockroach! $95 isn't much of a bargain. Don't feel like the Lone Ranger I'm not that type of collector either! This is my hobby not my business! If I start chasing profit then I turn my hobby into a job thereby killing the fun! This is what I do to get away from work. Money is the way true collectors keep score!

That's kind of where I'm at with them. Like "Why wouldn't I buy this thing that I'll at least be able to double my money on if not more?" when exclusives go up. I typically want them, but like with Popeye I wasn't sure but had to order anyway haha. Missed this one, I hope they put that multi-part sniper rifle for another release, that's pretty cool.

Go look on EBay and you'll see why all these "collectors" had to have this one!

Yep, they listened to the grumbling about the way they did it and are now producing more to be released later this year. Good on them

Cool that they got it back but, holy fuck I hate the mezco site and am tired of it. 2 years now, half of my orders don't go through due to "invalid address", the other half go through when I try 5 or more times, use different web browsers, switch between my credit card and pay pal. I've tried 6 times now today for this, Im over it. First World problems I know, but I'm about done with Mezco's jenky ass site.

In hand photo shoot, got one at the show. Unlike last year where I didn't read the email and never checked in to get the Batman one. :(

Pardon my ignorance, but the significance / popularity of the bug head eludes me. I understand that it's based on the corporate logo, but why is an action figure based on it 'hot?'

Is a movie coming out or something?

For people who don't know the pre-order went back up so this post should be updated. Also the one that is back up is releasing between July to September and it won't include the Toyfair goodie baggie. It includes a comic book of Gomez.

It's not based on anything. It's just Mezco's own little concept. They had a figure of Gomez years ago which was an 9 inch figure being a SDCC 2008 exclusive that cost $40. Which I'm guessing Mezco will base the regular version on that old SDCC exclusive.

You can find a review of that on MWCToys to see how that version looked but really Mezco just made him be a secret agent character that it.

ohh awesome, i want Gomez. by the way, i called it out on Post #12. "exclusives" dont really exist anymore. toy companies say "exclusives" just to cause a rush of purchases cause they wanna make money fast then weeks later they take it out again like in this case.

Although for Mezco, AFAIK, besides the Joker figure, they have never re-release or re-issued a prior figure with the same outfit/ deco.
