Magazine Scans Shows Off Soul of Chogokin GX-88 Armored Fleet Dairugger XV - Vehicle Voltron

Looks amazing, but since I couldn't acquire Golion, I'm going to pass on Dairugger.

Whoa, nearly $400? Yep, definitely going to pass.

Cobra1 05-22-2019 07:11 AM

Are they rereleasing Golion? Cuz if they are, it’ll determine if this guy becomes a purchase

Yup, in July.

deecee4 05-22-2019 09:09 AM

I managed to get a preorder for the rerelease of lion voltron and I have a lot of fondness for vehicle Voltron as well but yeah $400 is beyond what I'd be willing to pay.

User897 05-22-2019 12:19 PM

I missed the GX-71 preorder because it lasted just a matter of seconds. I'm sure the GX-88 preorder will be just as ridiculous. I guess they don't like money.

Bandai are idiots.

Tokyomeltdown 05-22-2019 03:14 PM

Nice, but their awesome GoLion is enough for me.

They did, but it was limited preorders and everyone was out in a day.

dCon 05-22-2019 04:12 PM

Can anyone let me know when this preorder is going up? What day and what that means for America?

I have the Lion Votron i was lucky and paid $189.90. HLJ preorder cost in 2016. I dont suppose Amazon Japan will be any help to preorderthis bad boy, eh?

0reser0 05-22-2019 07:09 PM

A must buy, despite some people whining about the price.

edjacko10 05-22-2019 08:13 PM

Pre-Order Date

Do you know the pre order date?

I bet you wouldn't consider it whining if your June 20th paycheck of around $1500 after taxes was going to be your last until Sept 20th.

protostar8 05-22-2019 09:53 PM

BBTS actually put up a second round of pre orders a week later, that's how I was able to get one. I think I might have even gotten the last one.

Yeah, I'm going to whine as much as I want, $400 is a lot of fucking money. If this doesn't drop around the same time as Lion, I'd probably consider it more seriously despite that price.I think Lion is far more iconic but as a kid I was a lot more into the vehicle Voltron cause I liked that show better.

Enigma2K2 05-23-2019 07:56 PM

I actually had this one when I was a kid!

That is one badass picture, but I wonder if the actual toy can do that without support.

Sure it can. Its pretty easy to pose Soul of Chogokins. I have a dozen or just under of the GX's and they all pose quite well. Almost as good as the full actions definitely in the legs at least.

Kamapuaa 05-30-2019 08:30 PM

Remember this is the Japanese price tag, the u.s release should be lower, like Gx-71.

All I have to go buy is the Zyuranger trio and I don't think they were worth the MSRP as people told me they would be.

Not really. Lately Bluefin has been pricing their releases a tad higher than the yen price.

Astoriacrew12 06-03-2019 04:52 AM

Just ordered from nippon-yasan.com for about $404 plus $93 for Japan air mail. Sign up for alerts, and then place your order, and make a payment.

rc9000000 06-10-2019 08:53 PM

So did I miss this i check a few of my websites and nothing. Amazon has a not yet or no longer listed page. Every import site is completely sold out and bluefin has nothing on there various blogs or store pages. If I missed this I’m super sad this is my favorite Voltron
