Finally! I thought they had forgotten about him!

I had a lot of the Kenner Predators when I was little but I don't remember this one at all.

I think this one is a tribute to an unreleased pred that had four arms.

That would make sense. I like the big claw hand it has.

This looks sooo cool! Can’t wait!

Lasershot was released back in the day; he was the figure with the electronic sound gimmick. The four-armed Predator is an unreleased prototype, a different figure altogether.

Laser Shot was one of the last releases and pretty scarce from what I recall. I saw him at a Albertsons supermarket once and that was it.

IIRC, the four armed unmade Predator was Heavy Infantry Predator.

Gotcha. Yeah I don't recall ever seeing that one. Looks cool though.

Damn...I got excited for sec, thinking that NECA was releasing an update of the Battle Armor Lost Predator with improved articulation. Oh, well.

Lasershot looks cool, however.

You too huh? :) i wish the lost pred would get an ultimate release with an unmasked head etc etc. That laser shot does look good and thanks for the info on which one it was. I never saw or heard of the laser shot back in the day so its good to know, i still want that four-armed one made. ;)

A damn shame NECA still hasn't improved their QC on their figures.

I had (or perhaps still have) the original. Of all the Predator figures I had, this was my second favorite behind the Ambush/clear one. It's a pretty good looking update.

It's been awhile since I've bought a predator, that will change with this one, super cool figure.

I'm glad they're giving us a choice for the gloved hand as I feel the larger one is perhaps too big. Either way I'm still absolutely picking this guy up.

I'm not a fan of the matted, almost cell shaded look of the skin tone (it looks more in line with the AVP Game line...) but hot damn, this is an awesome re-imagining of one of my fave Kenner figures (which I still own!) Can't wait to get my hands on this guy!

I can see a re-release of all the figures with a light up feature XD

How many Predators figures do we actually need from NECA?

This Predator looks so good. You really could get two of these and almost make to differwnt figures.

Those colors are so good. I love these unique figures that get so far away from the typical mold.
I am going to go ahead and say that this will probably be the best Predator figure ever released. Maybe even better than the anniversary predator and we havent even seen NECA product pictures of it yet.

Hopefully it does have near as many QC issues that Spiked tail had. That figure was really plagued. I hope to see NECA do an all around rerelease of some of their older figures now that they have been in Targets for a bit. I have seen some older figures making their way back onto the shelves.

How many more Kenner figures are there for NECA to do and how many have they done

At this point NECA has updated nearly all the Kenner Predators that we’re released in the 90’s. Now they are getting into the unreleased territory like the Night Recon Predator, Air Attack Predator and the four-armed Heavy Infantry Predator. There was also a space marine in predator-esque armor known as R’Zor that I wouldn’t be surprised if NECA one day released.

There were also repainted of previous released Kenner Predators that NECA could due as a way to re-release figures some collectors might of missed out on while also updating those figure with the new Predator articulation to make picking them up more likely.
Besides the the three big never before released Predators, personally I hope NECA releases most of the Predators that came in the first two Kenner waves on the new “Ultimate” bodies. A 2.0 version of Nightstorm, Lava Planet, Hive Warrior, Renegade, Scavage, Cracked Tusk, Viper and Ambush with updated and more outlandish weaponry (big cannons, funky-shaped spears, etc.) to mimic more of what the original 90 figures came with would go pretty nice therir latest offerings right about now.

Lastly an Ultimate Battle Armor list Predator, though technically not Kenner would also be pretty sweet and easy for them to do. I’m halfway thinking they nay reveal that at SDCC just from the demand that figure has gotten as of late with the additions is Spiked Tail and Lasershot.
