Where are you getting GameStop from? I didn't see it mentioned in the press release, their site or on their FB page.

Comedian 06-26-2019 06:19 PM

It says GameStop on the box in the pic.

Ah, I didn't actually look at any of the packaging pics. It's likely to go live in stores at the start of SDCC.

Damn it, these Swedish Chef figures aren't selling! What do we do??

... I know! Open them up, throw some shit on his apron and make it an exclusive"messy" version!

GENIUS!

I didn't know X-23 had a gray costume like that... wish we had gotten that one instead of the blue and yellow one for Legends.

Oooh,I think (personally) it’s the most badass comic rendition of her, although, I do think the colours could look a bit better on this statue, and her suit isn’t accurate. She has an exposed midriff in the comics. The costume, at least from my knowledge of what little comics I read, was from when she was under X-Force, a kill team consisting of Wolverine, Wolfsbane, Domino, Warpath, and Archangel. The team would go around and actually eliminate threats to mutants. The art for the entire run was by Clayton Crain, and I thought it was really good in that department as well. Only thing is that the last arc of that X-Force run does have a lot of backstory in other comic lines. But if you can get the volumes, it’s definitely worth a look :)

It honestly seems like that is what they did. The "mess" is only on the apron and nothing else. It seems like they painted the aprons and put the figures in a slightly different box. Maybe this is to help them get rid of their excess Chef stock and justify the eventual release of the rest of the electric mayhem.

The citizen ghost figure set however.... that is amazing!

I kinda dig the robots.

Just when I think I'm done with DST's Ghostbusters line, they roll out yet another repaint set that I can't resist. That Spectral Ghostbusters set is cool, and the inclusion of the demon dog and Stay Puft is great bonus.

It's a shame they are pretty much wrapping up this line with these various repaint sets instead of sculpting anymore new figures. I'd love to get some of the main ghosts from the Real Ghostbusters cartoon such as Samhain, as well as the cartoon version of Janine.

I was talking to my friend about this line and I mentioned that they should do updated versions of the main ghosts with their gimmicks and they could be packed with smaller clear ghosts like the original toys came with. I think that would be an awesome and I honestly think the inclusion of the "small" ghosts would be a huge selling point. That and they have to give us Janine and Louis to truly wrap the line up.

All that being said I feel like this clear terror dog is a sign of things to come. I bet they give us clear versions of all the previous ghosts they have made for the line and brand them as RGB because of the translucent feature, but if by doing this they can get us the missing cartoon characters I would be ok with it.

I know DST expressed interest in keeping the line going I'm just not sure what route they plan to take.

I'm not sure I'd really care to see clear re-releases of existing ghosts. I don't need the taxi cab driver again, for example.

It's too bad they probably can't give us an Ecto-1 in this scale too. Mattel tried to offer it as a kickstarter back in 2013 and there just wasn't enough backing for it, but I think part of that was because of waning interest in their inferior line combined with a very high price they were asking for the Ecto-1. You can see the mockup for it from SDCC 2013 here:
