Thanks for the heads up. Even more revealed. Don't tend to pause SDCC coverage, but those Spidey Figures may be the best thing we see today.

So happy to see they're actually making Manta! But damn, those Spiderverse figures are impressive. Definitely keen for that Peter B. Parker.

i reckon those spider-verse one might be pricey due to how much cloth they are using

Word on the street is that Mafex is doing a variant comic spidey, like the one they just took out but with comic shadowing on the blue part of his costume.

Wow they're going non-stop with comic figures, pretty great.

Since I was a kid I've always collected movie-based comic figures, so Mafex naturally appealed to me early on, but I have to say they are making some of the finest comic style figures on the market, and I am soooo here for it.

I've loved everything they have shown off recently, but I do hope we'll see a Joaquin Pheonix Joker sooner than later.

I like the first Spider-Man. He has muscles without muscles-on-muscles. The shading just looks bad, imho. He's wearing spandex, not cling-wrap.

I don't get the whole cel-shaded appeal, but i guess there is a market for it.

The 2D inked comic art style paint apps rarely look good on a figure, IMO. DC collectibles has a version of doomsday statue coming out this year that has that look and it's the only instance I can think of where that style of paint apps actually enhances the figure. Most other times, it usually looks ugly.
