Okay i gotta ask.....whats with the weird, pale, zombie-like head for alfred?
|
I had to look it up too. Apparently in a recent run, The Outsider from another earth was basically a Alfred and the mastermind of cross-earth drama. So he looked like Alfred but with this head. Or something similar to that, I didn't read the run it was in.

It’s easily the best Dc multiverse wave I’ve seen. It’s a shame too. Because the last couple of waves have actually been pretty good. It’s just they’re impossible to find at retail. Mattel finally got their stuff together but it’s too little too late.

I was already disappointed with Poison Ivy from everyone else sharing how lame the final product is but now I'm also let down by Red Hood and his lack of usable pistols. At least he has options on hands to just give him fists but even then he has gun holding hands for the guns he didn't come with. Seriously Mattel, you were making such nice steps to go out with a bang given some of the previous waves and then you fumble it at the end.

Why is nearly every Red Hood figure such a letdown? He's one of my favorite characters, but almost no good figures.

Awesome pics. Nice Job.

How does Alfred scale with Mezco figures?

Overall its a superb wave but 3 things. the body design on Bats (gray one) is bad and the Joker is awesome except for the head sculpt, maybe replace that head with another Joker head. Im NOT into Red hood but his masked head looks alittle too big
Sidenote: What Bats is that with the Yellow outline bat chest symbol, he looks sweet. |

It's been a while since I bought a DC Multiverse figure, but I picked up Katana, and she had one of the worst ankle rocker designs I have ever seen. The foot pegs straight down into the boot, rendering the pivot basically useless unless she's standing in a static pose.
I ended up swapping her feet out with a pair of basic female Legends feet (Vintage Black Widow,) and she works so much better. I highly recommend anyone who picks her up do this mod, as it's super easy to do, and makes the figure so much more enjoyable! http://www.toyark.com/attachments/55...805_184043.jpg |
I think the biggest loss here is that Mattel will never get a chance to make a better Damien Wayne.

That ‘89 Batman and Joker are such pleasant surprises for me. I had no intention of picking them up, but when I saw them in person I was overwhelmed with nostalgia and couldn’t resist.

Croc looks awesome, but I do wish he wasn’t so huge. I’ve always preferred the more human renditions of Croc.
