I wish the would reissue Scratch and other vintage figures. I wonder if they will do a MOTU Origins line

The mold broke on Scratch and many of the other classic figures.

The MOTU-Origins-like line is what Super 7 is doing.

AGAIN with these...

Vamp 09-02-2019 11:03 AM

Not my cup of tea but bad idea, these are easy to get on the web

hotheads 09-02-2019 02:14 PM

I hope playmates getting into gamestop doesn't cause any problems for neca.

I think the real question is what will the date stamp on these things be..... I am absolutely not a fan of any re-releases of decades old toy molds.

webz 09-02-2019 06:55 PM

Easy pass for me. I thought they were just lazy toys in 1987, I think they are pure crap today. Nope. Playmates toys can do much better than this.

Such a bummer. I didn't know. I will be getting Super 7. Super 7 stuff is more like MOTU Classics. The Mattel Origins line is just redoing the vintage figures and adding more articulation

Was Raphael really that lime green back then?

Dr Kain 09-03-2019 07:19 AM

Jesus, Playmates loves to reissue their nostalgia, don't they? They whine like bitches for NECA making fully posseable 6 inch figures, but then they don't want to do any themselves.

He was that lighter green, but these pictures makes him look especially bright.

It's done them well over the years.

I'll pass.
