I went with the 3D for this one. Was quiet happy with that. The figure does look nice, though that price is a lot!! You could buy the Blu-ray separate, and then just buy the Bandai Spirits Godzilla (though he is missing the blue highlights).

If it's like the other figure+bluray combos SH Figuarts has done (Death Trooper Specialist with Rogue One and a BB-8 with TLJ), it'll go down in price eventually and can get them from Amazon Japan. They went down to like $75 shipped I think? Maybe it won't go that low since this is a bigger item, but playing the waiting game may help.

I miss the days when I was excited for a MonsterArts announcement. Now I've been slowly getting rid of my collection.

Or you could buy the NECA one for $25 which doesn't have the ability to look up, but genuinely looks better and has like 87% of the articulation that the MonsterArts version has.

NECA really killed it with their figure.
