Hey guys, need some detective help.
Hey people, so this thread is a long shot in the dark, but a necessary one as I have had nothing but dead ends and the internet hasn't been helpful. Basically, I am looking for a specific action figure I wanted to get as a kid but my old man was too stuck up (yup, one of those circumstances) to buy me it as a early bday gift, or to hold onto it for me until then.
I unfortunately do not remember the name or the brand of the action figure, but specific details of its design. And before you ask if McFarlane could be of any help, nope. I just scoured their website of every model released since 1994. If someone could do a little detective work with the details I can provide, that'd be great, cuz I am at a total loss. I just wanted to be able to buy it some day, and never got the chance. - The store I saw it sold in was Walmart, in Canada. Which is surprising as most of their toy's lack a violent nature nowadays. It's mostly showy crap for just kids. - The figure itself resembled a grey skinned ogre-like, as he was humanoid and muscly-fat in structure, like a sumo wrestler, you could say he had a"Mongolian Barbarian" as a general theme/description. He had a large scimitar-esqe blade, with (I THINK) a long blackish-brown studded club. - He had neck-to-shoulder length black hair, a brutal grin on his face and a fu-man-chu mustache (if memory servers me). He also had some skulls hanging from his person on small gold/silver chains, some for a belt I think (3 or so). These details may be a little rough (it WAS over 12 years ago) but I would definitely recognize it if I saw it. 12 inches or so in height. - The year I saw this figure I don't remember exactly, but around possibly from 2004-2008. I know it wasn't in 2009. So from 2005-2008 would be my best guess. I know, long shot in the dark, but I was hoping that I could get this figure if it lurks on the web, as many things from the past do. If anyone can help me find an action figure matching this description, that would be great. Thanks all! |

Sure sounds like a Spawn the Dark Ages Ogre (but he was brown with a grey rider)

Only two things jump to mind. First is the Marvel Universe Frost Giant. It actually was a Walmart exclusive, and is 12" tall.
The other is Mr. Wink from Helly 2 The Golden Army. He seems to fit your description pretty well, minus the long hair. |
Try attila the hun Mcfarlane from 2004

Ty all for the replies, unfortunately none of these apply to what I am looking for :) Also, for those who suggested McFarlane Toys, please re-read my post.
Thanks lads, I'm keeping an eye on this thread so far. |

DC Direct did a line of World of Warcraft figures in the mid 2000's.
