PX Exclusive Marvel Now Magneto. Surprised this went up so long after the first one did but I guess they're pretty different.

I’m not surprised Mezco did an alternate version of Magneto. I’ve been expecting it but I thought it would be the black & red costume. I think the black Marvel Now costume would’ve been preferable to this one.

Not surprised at an alternate costume either, but of all the available costumes of Magneto, this was NOT what I was expecting. I'd go with the black/grey costume, personally. I mean white? really? can't even display this Magneto after Labor Day!

went ahead and ordered it- doesn't arrive into March 2020 so plenty of time to drop it if hasbro announces a NOW magneto

It looks more interesting to me as fodder for a custom Raiden from Mortal Kombat... :D

lol that just makes me mad Storm hasn't even shown a prototype of Raiden yet. Come on!

I knew there would be a lot of bitching about this one even though the white looks great and nobody has actually made this variant yet.

Partially agree... but I've so much crap coming in since August that I'm swamped… so I'm fine with Storm saving me a few bucks for a while. I've had no interest in Baraka or the MK3 stuff.

As for Magneto, I know it's not comicbook accurate, but I love his costume from the first two movies. Would love a Mezco Ian McKellen.

The average wait for PX releases is roughly ten months so it's likely a June/July time frame. (Yes I am actually tracking the length of every single release and taking the average for normal releases, PX releases and Exclusives.) That also means we should be seeing Cable, PX Cable, PX Cyclops (late) and PX Green Lantern this month or next.

I like it and will most likely get it. Though I'm also hoping that they release a black version down the line.

I think they'd just make this around the same time as the other Magneto.

So I've never bought a Mezco, what do you guys mean it won't ship til Fall 2020? Do these typically get delayed/ I love this costume too much not to order it.

It usually takes Mezco about a year to get a figure out. A good example is the new Cyclops figure. It was solicited in August 2018 with an expected ship date of February - April 2019. It finally came out in September 2019.

So like MAFEX then. Hmm.

Not sure what issue, but I believe this is the costume he was wearing during the "Marvel NOW!" era, and I believe at that time he was an ally to the X-Men, so that probably has something to do with the change. Of note, as well, is that recently, in the House of X/Powers of X series, and the subsequent X-Men books relaunch, he's wearing basically this costume again but with sleeves instead of bare-armed, and he is also an ally to the X-Men again.
