Lots of New Boss Fight Licenses
|
Hägar the Horrible? I remember these comics. I doubt I'll buy figures of it but I'm interested to see how these turn out.
Also, Bleach? What? Kinda feels like a "One of these is not like the other"-thing considering what they've done so far. Or did they do anime figures before? Don’t think I’ve seen any. |

Pics or it never happened.

Court of the Dead seems like it could be interesting
|
The King Features figures seems kind of random and weird. I feel like people are just gonna look at them and say 'that's cool, I remember that' and be on their way
|
The Sunday Comic Strip line sounded interesting at first, but I can't really see any of the ones listed selling very well. I know Calvin & Hobbes is off the table, which is a bummer, but what about Garfield?

|
Tarzan? That's dope, I'll definitely be interested to see what they do.
|
Okay, Tarzan has me intrigued...
|
Kind of a weird depiction of Tarzan. You'd think if his skin was that bronzed by the sun, then his hair would also be pretty sun-bleached as well...

I'm all in for their Bucky O' Hare line minus repaints, I'll get Zorro and Tarzan if they are in 6" (1:12) scale.

I'm a big fan of the Gabriel Zorro stuff - it's one of those lines that's tough to put together and remains this oddity that I like seeing from the earliest memories of my childhood.
The NBS Zorro sort of makes me want to dig those older figures out... |

I’m confused
Aren’t Zorro and Tarzan in the public domain? Why would a company need to acquire the licenses?

When I first saw the announcement on the front page I thought IT WAS the disney film since it said Tarzan and Jane which I thought the disney film was titled.
I'm pretty excited by these announcements. Court of the Dead; Tarzan and Jane and especially Zorro. I'm interested to see why his line is differently titled (Zorro X hero hacks). Hopefully we see something from this along with Flash (movie and other media) at Toy Fair 2020. |

So it turns out Zorro is in the public domain, but there’s also a Zorro Production company that handles licensing. To avoid any hassle, most companies just negotiate with them. That is weird.
|
I'm in for Zorro. Clever of them since they now have horses ready. Might segue nicely into a Lone Ranger line.
