Wanted: Poynter Products "The Instant Refund"
 

This looks just like the Addams Family Thing bank, but instead the hand takes the coin and throws it back at you. From 1968.
If it works, and with the box I'll pay $150 plus $10 shipping.
I'd still be interested if it doesn't work, at $50 plus $10 shipping. This isn't for resale, it's for my personal collection.

So a person PM'd me here they had what I was looking for, (Poynter Products "The Instant Refund"). Broken English, but that's not a huge deal. 0 posts, not a huge deal but sent the flag up. He sent me his e-mail, and I contacted him through that. I asked him specifically if he had the Instant Refund, and he said yes. He sent me pictures....the same ones I found on the internet. (lol). I then asked him to send me a picture with the cover off, so I could see the mechanism. He then sent me a picture of an Addams Family Thing bank with the cover off, the exact same picture I posted on E-Bay of my "Thing" bank I have for sale right now. LOLOL. So busted.
Always be wary folks.

Hi,Danny. Just happened to see your post asking if anyone has an instant refund bank for sale. So i joined the Toyark to get a chance to talk to you. I have one that i would sell, it is mint condition,both bank and box. Looks like it just came out of a newly opened case. I can check it and make sure it works. If it does,what would you give for one in this condition? Look forward to doing business with you,Mike

Mike, If it works, it would be worth $150 plus $10 shipping to me. I'll PM you my e-mail address, and maybe you can send me some pictures of it with the box, and the cover off showing the mechanism. Usually a small flat head screwdriver is required to work off the cover.
If the box has both cardboard inserts, and the instruction sheet, I'd pay an additional $20. Total working, $170 plus $10 Non working with box/inserts and sheet $70 plus $10
