It's too bad they didn't bother to at least improve his tail, since that was the one area I felt the figure lacked in. I wonder if they put a hole in his mouth for his fire breath.

I'm phenomenally disappointed that NECA announced they have access to the entire catalog of Godzilla kaiju and all my imaginings of a Toho Kong or Showa Gigan have been killed by new boxes for figures I bought years ago.
Oh, and they're not doing Godzilla Vs. Kong in 2020.

Yeah, all of the excitement I had for that announcement last year was killed at SDCC when NECA said they would not be producing any figures beyond Godzilla from this point forward, but then, that's 2019 in a nut shell, killing every hope and dream you have with an electrified axe.

Yep. They just recently said on Twitter they don't have the license for Kong vs Godzilla.

Has Neca given a date for that Godzilla 1985 re-release? That's the one I'm really looking forward to

I mean you'd imagine they would try to get it if they don't have it now. The movie is a long way off, but their language does not sound hopeful. That sucks.

Five months isn't that long off.

It's possible they have an entire line designed and ready to go and are "Waiting on Licensor Approval".
But I really doubt it.
