Man I WANT to buy They Live stuff, but nothing available/announced yet is grabbing me.

I'm really curious as to what's stopping The Thing merchandise. Every other Carpenter movie has had merch made lately (even Mezco got the rights to the OG Halloween and those seemed impossible for a while), and I thought they were all owned by Universal...

I haven’t been able to get a straight answer from the companies that have tried. NECA tried to get rights to do MacReady at one point, PCS figures/statues never made it past prototype, and Chronicle never got out of pre-development with their statues. When I talked to the guys at Chronicle, they said an unexpected licensing issue popped up, but wouldn’t go into detail.

Male Ghoul? they are Aliens not "ghouls" i think super7 dropped the ball there.

I read on Facebook that they are only doing the male and female aliens, licensing issues, with Roddy in particular.

I was excited for these when they were first previewed, but seeing the production pieces - I'm a bit let down. That and and the lack of Roddy make this Reaction subset a pass for me. (Which is just as well, as I'm all in on Robocop. :D)

Yeah, talk about owned. Did he think Super7 didn't know what the characters they licensed were actually called?

to be fair(said letterkenny style), I thought the same thing when first viewing, but the had to think about the fact that nothing is really confirmed there.

I like these. But at $36 for the set, $20 more will get me the neca 8 inch figures. These prices are getting out of hand.

Nice! Generally stay clear of the reaction line, but gotta love these.
