I like the head sculpt!

Something about that figure just looks...off. There are number of little factors as to why this is the case, one of them being that the skin tone, texture, and sculpt of the face doesn't match that of the body, which is way too smooth and lacking in detail. It looks like they dropped a Hot Toys-quality head on a Masters of the Universe body. It just looks weird and cheap.

Really, that figure should be at least $100 less. It's not Hot Toys level but they're currently pricing it like it is.

This is... not quite what I was expecting. At Chronicles price point, this is going to be tough to sell myself on.

And it's weird - seeing these pictures, I find myself more excited about the Super7 Conan line... :o

I think the issue is the paint job in general, I don't see the head as being HT quality, it looks like Threezero quality and then the same paint job on the body.

I just watched this movie the other day. In the film, Ah-Nuld is so oiled up he really does look like this. My wife even commented on the amount of oil on him as being ridiculous. It really wasn't a movie intended on being viewed in HD or better quality. lol

That being said, I totally agree on this not looking worth the asking price. $250 is a tad much. $135-$150 I could definitely see it, with the proper set of accessories. Hell, it'd make a great display piece in center of my boa's enclosure. lol

If it was dramatically cheaper, I'd be tempted to try swapping out the body for a color-matched Phicen.

Make it 1/12 and ill buy it 100%

Muscles looking a bit soft for Arnold or my 'mind's eye' version of Conan...the likeness in the face is pretty good.
