bah. Was hoping the Mandalorian came with The Child

Finally, a figure of the Mandalorian in this scale with a cloth cape. Bought for that alone.

I think anybody watching the show will know that this version of the Mandalorian is already sorta inaccurate as of the middle of the first episode, and will only get less accurate as the show goes on (avoiding spoilers, but if you look on Google image search you'll see what I'm talking about).

I could hear the collective cry of every toy collector when what you're talking about happened!

Doesn't really matter IMO since the only way to make this work would be a gimmick figure with interchangeable pieces or a new release for like every other episode.

Might as well do the very first and last, that's good enough for me :)

By the way, not watching the show, I have to wait until March 2020... :(

Honestly not too impressed with this emperor. Black Series came with basically the same stuff but also the cloth robe. May have to pass on this one.

Really? I think this robe looks incredible. The Hot Toys has problems enough, I wouldn't want a 1/12 scale robe for him. I prefer this way more than trying to futz the BS one to look good, it's barely passable even in the promo pics on the throne.

Damn! And I was content with my BS Emperor and throne. Oh well, at least it'll live for a year on my shelf until this one comes out. Also, it's good to see SHF expand their roster outside of the movies.

Well... I guess I'll wait 3 years until MAFEX makes The Mandalorian.

Overall that Emperor looks good but given that it's 4 times the price of the Hasbro one I'll stick with what I've got.

Dang...and I thought the head on the Black Series Mando was small. This guy looks like he was on the couch sitting next to the witch doctor in "Beetlejuice."

Amazing how two total guards are just accessories along with the Emperor's throne. I’m actually not impressed with how he looks at all. The sculpted robes for sitting are the only real advantage over the BS version. Throne looks great but when I gonna have him sat in it at all times I’ll never be able to admire that lovely detailing so should probably just hold onto my money.

Come on Tamashii Nations you know you want to give us a Movie (TV) Realization Mandalorian and while you're at it you might as well give us a Movie Realization Holiday Special Boba.

Once Hasbro got that face printing app down i just haven't been drawn to the imports at all. Sure, the high level of detailing is there- no doubt- but it was really all about the heads that Hasbro just bombed that kept me coming back to figuarts..

But that IG11 is so bought! Need the extra articulation
