I’m very interested in where they take the horror pvc statues. The marvel ones look amazing. Some horror icons would be very cool.

That Harley looks really bland... iron Giant looks great though!

Edit: has Castlevania series 1 even come out yet?

The sculpts on the Castlevania figures are nice, but man, ALL 6 of those figures are begging for some soft goods. It looks like half of these aren't going to have much range of motion because of their outfits.

Having said that, I'm thinking hard about getting Simon and ink washing the fur on his cloak to give it some depth, then cutting away the plastic cape and replacing it with cloth.

Definitely want that Iron Giant figure. Loved that movie.

After seeing Randy at NECA mention how Konami was a nightmare to work with, I'd be surprised if these Castlevania figures ever see the light of day. Also hilarious the solicitations for the second wave are out before the pre-orders for the first have even shipped.

It's possible that DST is just having to deal with Netflix in this case, whereas NECA was making stuff specifically based on the games and thus had to deal with Konami directly.

That sounds likely. Either way, it doesn't reflect well on Konami or Netflix.
