Total bummer of a reveal. If the fans could have chosen any one monster from the entirety of Doom lore to get a figure of, it would have been the Cyberdemon, hands down. I don't think anyone's going to be excited about this announcement.

Yes and no. This at least shows they're going further with the line. Not my choice of slayer skin. Would have preferred the Demonic Slayer Skin from the deluxe edition pre-order but it's nice enough. Their choice or Demon may not float everyone's boat but it's a start and he looks nice. Definite pickup for me. Here's hoping they give us some of the classics Revenant and IMP are on my wish list. Would love a Cyberdemon but only if it is in scale which when it comes to McFarlane i doubt. Cyberdemon is around 20 feet tall so would convert to a 2 foot tall figure in 1/10 scale. That would be absolutely badass but is highly unlikely especially from this company. If only NECA had this license ...

Same, I haven't played a new Doom game in years, but I'd definitely be up for Doom 1/2 stuff. Did anyone ever make figures based on the classic games?

I would be if a decent company would make this, the Marauder design is awesome and much more important than any regular enemy since he’s an actual character.

But since it’s McFarlane… nope.

If "played in years" means "since 2016" then yes. If not - what the hell are you doing?
I literally haven't played any Doom games since 1/2. I played the first one on Xbox 360 arcade a few years ago lol.

Try Doom 2016. Made by people who precisely understood what they were doing and it's glorious.

Yeah, Doom 2016 was awesome. I'm looking forward to the new one. The gameplay, guns, gore, and especially the music are great.
