wormser 02-22-2020 07:56 AM

I think I like the Playmates Baxter Stockman better even if the NECA one is more accurate. I want to be done with the tmnt line for so many reasons but there are some good ones coming.

Dolemite 02-22-2020 07:59 AM

A Super Shredder figure? Kevin Nash will be so happy.

RamenRider 02-22-2020 08:02 AM

The cartoon Turtles figures are simply not for me. At some point, toon accuracy just becomes boring. But there are fans who really want this - and I'm happy for them.

Secret of the Ooze - no thanks. The first Turtles movie was awesome, everything after lackluster or downright terrible. Although the figures capture the likenesses from the movie perfectly, so if you're into it - those are must haves I guess.

Movie Casey Jones is great, but of course, only in a two-pack with a figure I have no desire to own. Although the scene they shared is classic.

Excited to see what's up next... Defenders of the Earth? Like, the cartoon? God damn, that theme song is in my head again.

OriginalFire 02-22-2020 08:08 AM

TMNT stuff is all awesome. It's so amazing. Can't wait for the 1/4 scale Raph. It's like I have no words for the awesomeness. The different Triceratons are awesome. It's all amazing

OMG it is! That's awesome!

EDIT: The animated props are a bit wonky but man, that Batman Beyond Batarang will be mine!

Black Arbor 02-22-2020 08:28 AM

If I were a betting man, I'd say that Mandrake the Magician body is a reuse of a comic style Joker NECA had in the works but never saw the light of day after the DC vs Dark Horse toys fiasco!

Smasher 02-22-2020 08:36 AM

Just two new Godzilla figures and they're BOTH Godzilla. At least they look great.
The 2002 Godzilla is one of the few MonsterArts that I have.
I love the design and will gladly buy it again.
I wonder how it compares.

Mordachi 02-22-2020 08:37 AM

No ultimate Loomis?

No ultimate Loomis? Guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

Neoblackdragon 02-22-2020 08:41 AM

Super shredder?

MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE

Though I the paint job is on the matte side of things. We'll see if that's final.

djblizzard 02-22-2020 08:42 AM

Wow. Seriously blown away by NECA’s showing here. So many awesome TMNT reveals (movie Casey, Tokka & Rahzar, Super Shredder, Baxter, Krang’s Android Body, etc), Marty McFly, Ash from Alien, The Phantom...man, super impressed. If they reveal Mike Harrigan from Predator 2 over the weekend for the 30th Anniversary line, they’ll have won the show for me.

DarkEyes 02-22-2020 08:44 AM

OMG The Defenders are AMAZING

MegaPrime33 02-22-2020 08:48 AM

Man, they are hitting it out of the park with this stuff. My 2 favorites are the super shredder and 1/4 scale toon figures!

metalalchemist 02-22-2020 08:57 AM

@joe Any idea on availability for the turtle stuff or are we still gonna deal with the existing mess?

Dolemite 02-22-2020 09:01 AM

Ash! Holy mother of fuck, Ash from Alien!! AND he's got a rolled-up porno mag! :)

And there he is... Ultimate Battle Armor Lost Predator! Looks awesome, and he can actually bend his elbows now!

Astra 02-22-2020 09:02 AM

How big will the Back to the Future Marty be? Why does it look so big and the 8" figure next to it so small? Aren't Neca figures usually in the 7" range (my favorite)?

NECA sometimes (usually?) has bigger-sized prototypes at some point before they're shrunk down to their final height, sometimes they're shown off because the finally sized ones aren't ready yet.

I think it's safe to assume these will be 7" in the end.

Yes, those are the 2-up protos.

Ghost 02-22-2020 09:25 AM

Those Preds! I need all three. Looks like Scout has a unique head/mandible design? Interesting that they didn't simply recycle the Pred 1 or 2's head.

Mitchymitch 02-22-2020 09:27 AM

I only collect the 7inch scale/ultimates, so seeing massive wants like They Live come as the 8 inch cloth things is massively disappointing.

Though Ultimate Marty (almost) makes up for that. I really hope we see Goonies, Ace Ventura, Beetlejuice and Nada come in Ultimate form.

I think they stated that every Lost Tribe Predator who only had unmasked heads showing in the movie will get a unique mask und in turn everyone who wore masks will have a brand new unmasked headsculpt.

It looks quite nice honestly.

Shadowknight1 02-22-2020 09:33 AM

That Super Shredder is dope. That was like the only Shredder figure from the movies that actually resembled him back then, so I have a lot of fondness for that design.

That Marty McFly figure is super good! Doubt he scales to any DeLoreans out there though. And speaking of DeLoreans, I cannot believe that NECA is doing stuff from the BttF cartoon! I have very fond memories of that show, despite it's "quality", and I'm a sucker for the DeLorean time machine period.

EDIT: Oh, and the Toony Terrors Beetlejuice is fantastic.

Thank you very much! I assumed so but wasn't sure.

I will be happy to add this Marty to my collection (my brother has the 1/6 one). I always prefer realistic looking figures over comic style or mini-mates and the like. I'm glad someone finally got the licence for this.

Tracer 02-22-2020 09:48 AM

I feel sorry for Super 7.

DerpingPikachu 02-22-2020 09:48 AM

Yooo, ultimate Ghostface and Marty Mcfly? I need those in my life!
