Nice! Never was able to find the first release, and love the retro card.

Dammit! After the last release I figure'd I'd never need another Mysterio, least of all a repaint! But this looks pretty sweet.

I wonder if he still has the Lovecraftian horror head sculpt under the globe?

Fuck you Hasbro. Seeing the colors pop on this one makes the old one a dull eyesore mocking me from the shelf.

Was just thinking I hope they do an animated costume Chameleon for a retro Spidey wave. I’d be down for several waves of classic/90s cartoon retro releases.

Man... I really wish I had not bought the first release on the secondary market after getting into legends late. Especially since I like this one better. I am still holding out hope for a classic Electro though as I never pulled the trigger on the first one.

Same here. I found one at Wal-Mart around Christmas time 2018. I hope they do in fact change the tentacle skull headsculpt to set the previous version apart.

Kinda wish they'd given him a new cape with less flaring in the shoulders, but otherwise I love it!

I'd buy the living shit out of that if it happens, C'mon hasbro you know you will and you can re-use the same body mold...
already pre-ordered mysterio myself.

It is possible they give us a redo on him too, but not for a couple years, maybe if and when the character makes its way into the movies all suited up. The last release was one of the peg warmer in that wave though, unlike Mysterio.

I think this came out great but I prefer the classic color scheme, I might still get one depending on how hard they are to find. If nothing else this is an opportunity for people who missed the Lizard wave figure to get a comic Mysterio.

Since this one is a Fan Channel figure , I still hope the rumored rest of the retro card figures will be classic Electro, Armored Daredevil, and Classic Green Goblin ( with a Norman head PLEASE!)

The 1st release is the more classic paint scheme for Mysterio so I dont understand why this repaint is being released in a retro line?

The cardback is based on the Toybiz line for the '90s cartoon which depicted Mysterio with yellow gloves and boots.

Looking forward to the whole of this wave... might be the first time I buy the whole wave...

Based on the article, I think this one is actually separate from the upcoming Spidey Vintage Wave (although in the same style of packaging), and it's a Fan Channel exclusive.
