Nothing brightens my day like $112 army builder sets.

What if I want the other head to be Baron bends and the long one to be the trooper? What'll they have to say about that huh???

Looks great, and I quite like the gift-set mentality of including stuff like a comic book and a shirt.

Sadly Mezco will add almost another $100 for shipping and handling if I order from them and that’s just too much.

I dig this non licensed character (way cooler than generic dolls with bug and skull heads... but that is pretty pricey for a generic bad-guy for my Aquaman to fight or henchman for BlackManta...

It is pricey but I went in on this one to see if I like them at all and I'll just sell if it's not for me.

Yeah- if he goes the way of their other Mezcoverse characters he should be easy to dump... That's a good selling point.

They put a lot of effort into not-Black Manta.

Beautiful figure! Whoever designed him was obviously looking at some Jack Kirby art. Surprised they didn't included some sort of LED feature since there's glowing bits in the artwork and promo pics.

I’ve been collecting One:12’s since the beginning. I’m not crazy about humanoid bugs. I thought the Pink Skulls Society was a lazy cash grab. So I’ve passed on those. Baron Bends is a different story. I preordered him this morning. I loved the color and the Kirby-influenced styling. I love the Cthulhu/ Predator look of the alternate head and will be posing him with that one.I think the accessories are great but I would love to see Mezco add a knife to this set. If Mezco does more of this type of cool, original stuff I would pick it up for sure. As it is I’m really stoked about adding Baron Bends to my rogues gallery

Loving the look, almost tempted to get this despite it not really being a character I (or anyone else, for that matter) has any existing connection with.

Does the bio feel at all reminiscent of Rom: Space Knight to anyone else? Specifically the whole spiel in the original commerical?

I love the look and feel of this one, but it will be impossible to find in europe at a descent price. And ordering from Mezco, well, with shipping cost and customs that's no longer a descent price...

Why do I want this? He reminds me of the mezco Nemo figure playsets....or was that when they were Aztec toys? Oh boy....aging myself here. Anyway... gives me nostalgic feelings and definitely Kirby influenced.

$112 on Mezco, $170 on BBTS and he is about to completely sell out there too. I think he is cool but not that cool.
