Personally, I'd go for Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon for a much-needed head upgrade. Jango and Ahsoka comes next.

Seriously, Jyn Erso? Why bother re-releasing her since there's still a lot of her figures stinking up the toy shelves?

An updated Slave Leia or Boushh would be nice.

These choices were all submitted via fan write in votes. The Star Wars fan sites were offering write in ballots, with Hasbro tallying the votes and offering a general public vote on the top ten. So people wrote in for her.

Hmm...tough one. Jango, maybe? Obi-Wan would be nice, too.

Seriously, I was just coming in here to say the same thing. Personally I liked the figure and even have one on my shelf (I really enjoyed Rogue One, moreso than the any film of the new Disney Trilogy), but it's probably the biggest peg-warmer I've ever seen from the Star Wars Black Series line since it started.

So they just say Ahsoka and show a picture of her from Rebels. I want TCW Ahsoka. I mean they just finished TCW with Ahsoka being the main protagonist in the epic final arc, and in Rebels she is just a side character.

These will all be reissues, with face tech if applicable. No new molds or major additions.

With that scope - I'd go for Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan - as they were both solid but had awful heads. Both would hold their own with photo real tech.

The Leia figs would benefit too - but Slave is not that great a toy otherwise and Boushh has the helmet to hide the head anyway for 50% of uses.

Rebels Ashoka - I think that's coming again updated no matter what so don't waste a vote. :)

I can see Jyn getting a reissue simply because that is probably the single worse BS figure I own and put me off from buying them for like a year and a half. Poor paint, RUBBER legs. I can bend her legs left and right as easily as using the joints, that was the absolute dumpster of the Black Series line.

But either way, she was a total peg warmer since they made 10 million of them, there's just no way they'll reissue her.

Conspiracy theory, no one voted for Jyn, they just have a warehouse full of unsold Jyn's that they can slap new facepaint on and hopefully trick people into buying! Also, don't waste a vote on Jango Fett, of course he's gonna be rereleased, vote for Slave Leia, fan channels may be the only way we get another shot at her!

Jyn Erso and Rose Tico both tie in for having the worst peg-warmers among the Black Series figures. Both are selling for $10 the last time I saw them before the virus outbreak and still no one would buy it, lol.

Come to think of it, all of the Disney-era Star Wars characters didn't sell so much.

I really want to vote for Huttslayer Leia...but they would really need to fix the scale of that figure. She was dreadfully undersized.

Photoreal face on the existing Huttslayer Leia would be lipstick on a pig. Not only the scale but ugly joints too. Better to wait for a version with the new pinless joints.

I think it's likely most of these final ten finalists will end up in the next few waves of the archive line regardless of who wins.

I'm not in the US or Canada so I can't vote apparently, nice.

I don't get all the complaining about the joints on her, these are $20 figures, what do you guys expect? I'm glad they can move, they're not statues. I don't see any difference between slave Leia and any clothed figure having joints.

Seamless bodies suck too if you want to do anything but have them in a museum pose. I hate them for 1/6 figures too.

Qui-Gon. His face is awful but otherwise he is great.

Slave girl Leia needs a brand new figure.

I actually just voted and went with obi-wan RotS. We looks like I painted his face.

Lol, I concur. Tho yes, she would probably rock more with a better head. She's one of the worst offenders.

I find it hard to believe that Hasbro pulled this vote together so they could make a single updated figure and blow off the other 9. It won't surprise me if everyone winds up getting updates.


The Boushh figure is too tall, although with the helmet on it passes off since it is a disguise. My main issue with the original slave Leia figure we got, aside from her horrible face, was that the proportions were wonky and so far the Archive line has only addressed paint issues so I'm not sure how much effort they'd commit to any other changes. Similarly, a fresh coat of paint wouldn't fix Qui Gon's eyes looking sunken since they were separate from the rest of his head.

I won't vote for Ahsoka since I found one with pretty solid paint so I'm good with her Rebels look. It feels likely we'll be getting an entirely new Ahsoka figure soon enough anyway, either based on her Siege of Mandalore outfit or down the road for Mandalorian season 2.

I'm surprised. I thought "Huttslayer" Leia was no longer allowed in these sensitive times.

Like George Lucas with the Holiday Special, if I had the resources I would hunt down every last Ahsoka figure and smash it with a sledgehammer.
