I ended up just pre-ordering a bunch of these off Amazon. I really like the pop of color on the front and the movie title the figure is from on the packaging now. Can't wait to have these in hand.

Boxes looks great. Will be a shame when I throw it out. :).

I love good colour-corresponding packaging If that makes sense. It makes finding what you’re after in a store so much easier. Shame there aren’t any actual toy shops left around here.

Yup. They sucked me in to all of them. I started recycling the boxes because they just suck, but these are worth rebuying figures for. Total win on hasbro’s part. Now, where the hell is the vintage collection? Honestly, 3.75 needs a refresh on packaging. I know we need to finish some vintage figures but it’s getting stale.

Now give me Grand Inquisitor and Kallus and I'll be 100% satisfied with the Rebels releases.

Finally get to complete my Ghost crew! Hopefully I can find an Ezra to replace mine with the bum ankle.

Just to be clear these are just re-issues in nicer packaging right? Sabine and Ahsoka look identical as far as I can tell.

I looked over the promo images pretty thoroughly with the same question, and they all look like re-issues to me.

Which is good for consistency, especially since half of the Ahsoka figures I came across from her initial release had sloppy application.

Yeah, I have a bit of a bone to pick with Pulse. I was under the impression that being a "Premium Member" meant early access to stuff before it was open to the general public. The very second I got their email today I went to the site, but Beskar Mando and ESB Vader were already sold out.

This is the second week in a row I've gotten an email from Pulse about new pre-orders, only to click through and find key figures had sold out within minutes. Last week it was some of the ML retro Spidey wave. Now this. Sure, I was able to place orders elsewhere, but the other incentive for a Pulse membership is free shipping. If having a paid membership only means free shipping on the dregs, then I'm not sure I'll be renewing.

Look, a 3 minute window to purchase non-exclusive figures is unacceptable. The Mandalorian and Vader were insta-gone.

Still, this is 1 million times better than HasbroToyShop ever was....

Everything except another Ezra for me. I thought the old Rebels faces were perfectly fine until I saw the photoreal upgrades, well worth upgrading to me. Zeb looks magnificent too.

I can't even be mad about the improvements to the figures I already have.
If the originals were outright terrible I might, but these are more running changes to good figures that just use the new technique.
I support Hasbro and any other company that makes improvements to their products.
It's nice to see.

It actually is a good idea from a marketing standpoint.
Word of digital mouth gets around and there is excitement and more traffic generated.
But they should have enough stock for Thursday and Friday and as you point out, they didn't even have enough stock for Thursday.

Just got Carbonized Mandalorian and off eBay I got Heavy Infantry Mando, Cara Dune, Yoda Jedi Master Blue Line, Cal Kestis, C-3PO & BABU FRIK, R2-D2 Orange Strip, and Deluxe General Grievous.

That packaging is absolutely horrible. The package "art" on the Vader figure is blue with a blue lightsaber. So stupid. I'll definitely be getting the 40th Anniversary version.

If I was a SW collector I would just give up... having to re-buy a whole ton of figures just for new improved headsculpts would be too much for me. At least for Marvel Legends they usually give you a whole new sculpt and a lot more accessories like alternate heads and stuff and the paint job is a little bit different.

So new paint job good but new headsculpt bad. Glad that was thought out.

And I'm not sure how anyone "has to" rebuy all these figures when A: adults don't have to buy anything they don't want and B: I can go to Amazon right now and buy every single one of them individually.

They rereleased Ahsoka Tano with improved face printing which means it was pointless to include her on the Archive fan poll that ends today.

I said before I wish they would just sell the new heads separately to those that want it... like in a multipack of just heads. And if people that missed the figure the first time want to rebuy the figure than go ahead.

Once these figures come out then all the previous figures are instantly made obsolete... nobody will want them anymore. You should see my LCS... I actually pity him. He has all the older Black Series figures that nobody will buy now because of the archive re-releases and all the other re-releases with better headsculpts.
