I think that’s the game baxterfly, not the short stumpy cartoon baxerfly. Like slash, the two versions don’t match.

Yeah great catch! I had no idea why it looked off. I was thinking the video game line was going to be almost all re-paints. It’s great to see that differential in the characters. That’s a surprise! The double joints in the arm and the head and neck articulations are looking real good.

It will be interesting to see how far NECA pushes the TMNT movie stuff, because there really isn't much left for them to do, but I'm sure they will find a way. We need Head Thug Sam Rockwell lol.

Here's a roadmap I expect to see at this point.

If Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi (if they are doing both) sell well enough, then I expect them to go with Tatsu.

Scaled down Baby Turtles set with other accessories for a TMNT Accessory Pack.

Elias Koteas seems willing to play ball now. So I wouldn't be surprised to see an unmasked Casey Jones and April 2-pack next year.

Follow that up with a re-release of Shredder with his new helmet and messed up hand for Secret of the Ooze.

Samurai Turtles from TMNT 3 (using the base heads from the Musical Mutagen Tour Set) for SDCC 2021.

So my TMNT Cartoon roadmap (if I can find them) seems to be clear. I'm not going to want everything from that line. But, of what they've show/released, here's my pick up list:

Casey Jones and Foot Soldier
Metalhead
Leatherhead and Slash
Android Krang Body
Rat King
Rock Soldiers
Splinter

Unannounced, or not yet revealed that I'd want:

Baxter Stockman
Mousers

Outside of that, none of the characters hold much interest to me. Don't care much for Mondo Gecko, Vernon, Mutagen Man, etc. Look cool for what they are, just not characters I'd personally want.

Cartoon Baxterfly was announced during the last convention. I’ve heard several rumors the Foot convertible is also in the works.

Easy Pass.
I will never find Baxter Stockman to buy, so it will be very easy for me not to buy it.

I hope the punk frogs are coming after this.

I understand this is a knee-jerk reaction by now, but go back and re-read. This is the Arcade version of Baxter, so he'll be specialty store only - NECA Direct, smaller independent stores and pretty much every online collectible site. It'd be pretty hard not to get him. (Especially 'cause he's so awesome-looking.)

Wooooooow, it's completely different. This definitely convinces me to keep collecting the line. I want to go re-examine the other video game characters now. Looks like he has a very different deco too.
