NECA SDCC 2020 Thursday Updates
 

C'monnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn surprise "The Thing" announcement......

After NECAs continued and unparalleled incompetence and mismanagement regarding the ability for us TMNT fans to actually try and buy their product, I am boycotting all future Neca items, they simply don’t deserve the money. The only thing I will bite on is if they finally start to dig into John Carpenters movies, ala The Thing, Escape from NY/LA, Vampires, Big Trouble In Little China, etc. Other than that, Neca has exhausted all of my good will and Super 7 (along with other companies) are getting more of my money in return.

The one horror thing I'm waiting is the reveal for that Ultimate Ghostface.

'Eh' on the reveals so far. Hopefully NECA will start showing off stuff people care about soon.

I feel like the Ghostface cloak is too short?? And is the scythe and decayed mask from part 5?? I never watched the tv series, is it from that??

Gotta love that ultimate Ghostface!

Probably won't grab it but the Ghostface looks good. I'll probably grab the Creep Toony Terror, first one in the line for me.

Ghost face is welcome, but yes, his skirt seems a bit short. I’m sure they know to fix that.

All I want horror related is an Ultimate Ash from Army of Darkness (My favorite Evil Dead Movie)

Ghostface looks...kinda underwhelming? I understand doing the cloak with softgoods, but it just looks cheesy and ill-fitting. I thought this was one of their Retro figures when I first saw the pics.

There was a Scream TV show?

Really hoping for more Halloween ultimates.
I know with Kills being delayed it means anything they were making for it is delayed too, but I really had Hope's for an ultimate Loomis from part 2, or even Michael from other films.

Hahaha I thought the same! Honestly, though, it was the right move. I had both of the older McFarlane and Neca Ghostface figures, and sculpting the cloak definitely hindered articulation.

While not as great as I hoped I'm still definitely getting Ultimate Ghostface.

The show was on MTV. It’s on Netflix now....I think 3 seasons. They actually aren’t bad. The first ones have no ghost face though. I think the third season did. If you have the time, they are worth a binge.

Maybe I'll check it out. Thanks for the info.

Miracle of miracles! We're finally getting a Part 7 Jason!!

That Jason looks phenomenal!

For someone who is not a huge fan Friday 13th I have somehow managed to acquire quite a few Jason's. This one looks no different.

Ghostface looks great.

I assumed Jason was coming back. Anyone remember Randy talking about some great accessory set of expansion set/ playset or something like that. And neca had to put it on hold. I’m hoping we get some news on that.

I'm assuming that would be a re-release of the Pamela shrine that came with the old Part 2 set. Maybe?
