Looking good so far, but just like their Street Fighter offerings I'd be a lot more excited for the line if I knew for sure whether or not they were actually going to make the women.

He looks ok, I guess. I was hoping that they were going to give him those crazy Bengus proportions but guess not.

Morrigan and Felicia are almost a guarantee. Not sure about the rest. Street Fighter already got 4 Chun-Li (blue & pink cheongsam and the black and red "sexy" versions) and 2 Cammy. Mortal Kombat has Mileena and Kitana, but they are being reworked.

They teased Morrigan (via game artwork) along with Demitri back at NY toyfair

Glad we finally got a reveal for the line! They're all such crazy designs, I'd be up for almost any of them.

Holy fucking shit, FINALLY. The license was announced way, way, way back in February of 2019, after all.

That said, Demitri looks great. I know Storm has a lot of trouble rounding out their lineups, but if they at least get a Morrigan out as well, I'll be happy. Anything beyond that would be gravy, including Pyron, Huitzul, Jedah, and Felicia.

yeah, same. I am very interested to see what they do with this property but I am not very optimistic judging by how they have a knack for producing kind of "bulky" figures. It worked with SNK (well, I only have Kyo and he looks great) cause Shinkiro's art was not very stylized (guessing they based those figures on his artwork). Not sure how I feel about Demitri though. On the fence, at the moment.

I think the storm look is actually pretty appropriate to DS. The designs already had thst bubbly muscle look, just lacks some of the extreme proportion stylization like massive hands. Look forward to more characters like Hsein-ko or Huitzil.

Nope. Actually the opposite. The game artwork is heavily stylized and they reigned it in some for the in-game sprites.. This figure looks more in line with how he looked in the actual game.

Jesus, I didn't think there was anything in my post to get worked up over. But you're right, nothing to argue over for pages. And yeah, it's very possible (maybe even likely) that Storm Co. skipped over the first two games and went with later iterations, as far as looking at reference for this figure.

I haven't played in a while but I always thought Demitri was like the main guy character? They've been liking or commenting on Twitter to people who reply about Felicia and Morrigan, so I'm sure they're coming.

Yes, he and Morrigan are the Ken/Ryu of sorts for the game, being that they have a personal conflict (Demetri was banished from the Demon Realm by Morrigan's father). The rest of the characters are sprinkled in between that core conflict, serving one side or the other.

Much more rich story than that cartoon that aired with the Street Fighter cartoon.

Fair enough. I just remember the old games prominently featured Morrigan and Felicia in so much art and I've seen way more statues of them than other characters on Japanese e-tailors.

Why are you weirdos bitching about the design? He looks like Demitri in toy form. Demitri's overall look has varied depending on which artist is rendering him, but his proportions are usually exaggerated, and Storm's is overall 100% correct. Geez.
