Blitzway MIB International Figures
These look mostly good, the price point sucks. To me it seems like a bit of a risky property to make figures of, not sure I know anyone who even saw this let alone wants figures from it. Hope Blitzway has some other cool stuff coming down the pipeline.
Yeah, I think this is a mistake. The Movie was not that good and did not do well so I don't see a market for these two at this price.
Now if they did a 1/6 J and K, Oh boy, I would preorder in a heartbeat. |
No one on Earth wanted these figures.
These look good as expected from Blitzway. But agree the movie was bad. Price point is what you would expect for 1/6, but Blitzway is on the slightly higher end. The only real positive I can think for anyone really interested in these, besides die-hard MIB fans, is you could try and use these great sculpts for any Hemsworth (except MCU) and Neeson movie character "stand-ins." Says something also why they didnt go for a Tessa or Emma Thompson.
Nobody. Absolutely nobody: Men in Black international figures.
Already a bad decision to produce these after the film bombed a year ago, but it's even more stupid to do Liam's character instead of Tessa to go with Hemsworth.
Maybe the license is really cheap? Maybe people will buy anything? I could see these being popular for customizers possibly, but damn... the success of these figures is sure an iffy proposition for a company that dribbles out a handful of figures over a period of years, no matter how good they look.
I think my wife watched it on a plane, so there’s at least one person who’s seen the actual movie. |
Outside of getting figures of the actors, I'm not sure there's a huge appeal for MIB International figures. Blitzway, in general, seems to go after licenses that not a lot of companies are producing items for. Even when they go for a high profile license, they try to do stuff with it you're not seeing from other companies. I'm also guessing a lot of their items are really low production numbers.
True. How many folks actually have the scratch for a full set of GBs and Ecto-1?
Such an odd choice. I guess the plus side is that if you do actually want these, you probably won’t have to wait long to see them reduced
Good thing I'm not the only who thinks that the movie sucks and that Blitzway was way too late in making these.
It's odd that Tessa Thompson's character isn't included, how ironic considering that she was the lead. Note to Tessa: Woke leads don't sell tickets. Just ask the cast of Terminator: Dark Fate and Charlie's Angels 2019. |
Nah those movies just sucked and/or had shit marketing. Don’t make it about something it ain’t.
Looks like the Figs came out quite well...
Wish the movie Had =^) |
Shit man, I remember the terrible trailer for this but wasn't aware that it ever came out.
