Please help ID GI Joe Bar / Post / Linkage??
 

Hi guys,
Here's another couple of Joe mystery parts I've had for a while...

The first feels like GI Joe plastic, has an open hole for connecting to something, other side of the bar has vertical lines all along the side (about 3" long).

The second is about an inch tall when folded as shown in the photo and looks like it fits into something, maybe some type of gun support?

Any help is greatly appreciated, and big shout out to Sean for always helping me out!
