This is cool

I can't believe they're doing the dragon! But I'm also super excited if it means we're getting Liu Kang too. I wonder if they made any effort for likeness rights. I thought a while ago the guy who played Johnny Cage posted he was doing a deal with them, but didn't see anything about a Cage figure since. Either way I'm excited, and really hope it's not just the dragon.

If it's as big as the old prototype they showed around '17 I might just stick it in the IronMan shelf and have it fill in as Fin Fang Foom

I really hope this comes to fruition soon, I'd really like to start filling my Storm MK Shelf up with non-ninjas, namely, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, and Lui Kang

I don't think likeness rights has anything to do with it...as much as it is Storm's hectic schedule and licensor approval. I imagine that ultimately comes from Warner Brothers, who has been rumored to be shopping the MK rights and game development houses around for years, so i can imagine that process being drawn out a bit.

I'm pretty sure they don't need the actor's approvals for anything MK related though. Just the studios and lawyers in charge of everything.
