I've seen female Beetlejuice costumes which were much more clear about what they're meant to be than this. She looks like an anime vampire or succubus more than Beetlejuice. They could have at least gothed her up a little bit with pale skin and black eye sockets.

Seriously. Going with the red tux look kinda loses the Beetlejuice motif, though I'm pretty sure there's a striped white tux one coming too?

Yeah, I agree with you guys. If it wasn't for the Handbook of the Recently Deceased that she's holding, I wouldn't even guess that statue had anything to do with Beetlejuice.
