Dino-Riders Return with New Exclusive from Entertainment Earth!

When I saw the headline that Dino-Riders Return, I was so excited!!! Then I scrolled down and say the actual product and was disgusted!!! This M.U.S.C.L.E. inspired garbage is an insult to the fans.

So seeing anything new from Dino-Riders is AWESOME!!!!
That show was 100% my jam back in the late 80's early 90's, but why the uncolored figs? Is there something I'm missing? Is this trying to be Dino-Riders Warhammer? Also, ngl, not really a fan of the stylization here, way too cartoon-y. Still, for $19.99 it's pretty dope, I'll probably buy it just to buy it :thumbs

Dear God, this is AWESOME. Not normally into the 'M.U.S.C.L.E.-style', but I had to pre-order 2 sets anyway. When it comes to Dino Riders, I will support anything I can get. :D

Me too!! :D I think the designs are kind of wonky--leaning toward those crazy Imaginext toys from a couple years back, but I did the same--ordered a set for me and my bro, just to support the line for now! Heck, I'll buy anything Dino-Riders Mattel wants to throw at me, shirts, mugs, skateboard decks lol :drunk

I think this is cool for what it is. It doesn’t take away or remove anything else and if popular enough may lead to even more cool stuff.

I am bothered that the deinonychus and parasaurolophus are the wrong colors. But I still ordered a set.

How is it this great series still has new full run dvd yet?

Some of my favorite properties have been shrunken down lately. Not ideal, and I want full-sized dinos as much as anyone else, but maybe some of these will go well with my WWE figures.

Blah. The license should go to Creative Beasts as a spin-off of the Beasts of the Mesozoic line.

I want better DR toys than this, but if this test offering flops they probably won't put anything else out :/
Mattel, you own Mega Construx now, make a buildable DR line!
Small dinos + rider in slime eggs (like the Breakout Beasts), larger dinos brick-built (they did the Minions t-rex a while back), and cross-compatibility with Halo and all their other lines (vikings, Master of the Universe, Call of Duty, old west, etc). So much potential...

I think if they did do dinoriders, it’d be a subclass of Jurassic World. Definitely would reuse the toys.

I like it for what it is. But then...

They could also release stand-alone harnesses to place on the dinos we already have. But then I'd probably buy some repainted/repacked dinos too.

Stand alone harnesses don’t make Mattel much money. No, if they do it, it’s all in and repainting the JP line and adding Dino Rider elements. Probably add a Netflix cartoon or some other tie-in.

Umm... I was pinging for the series to return after decades of nothing, but... this? They are not even miniatures just unpainted rather crappy toy soldiers. Pass, sorry.
Heck the Fisher Price Imaginext toys were more of a Dino Rider hommage than these.

Honestly, though, I've probably done my share of bitching online over toys, but this time, I'm okay with it.

I think it's because Dino-Riders wasn't one of my favorite properties. I was pretty bummed out about the Sectaurs being miniaturized, but I bought them anyway out of love for the characters (and the Marvel series).

With the Dino-Riders, I mostly remember the amazing box art.

Thanks! I'm not crazy about their size, but they do have magnetic feet. Magnets make everything cooler.

I'm with you--Dino-Riders, C.O.P.S., definitely Inhumanoids, Starriors, Silverhawks, Bionic 6, Centurions...I want them all.
