WOW! Cull Obsidian is like 90% new. I like it.

I just preordered. Nice updates. Obsidian Was a necessity to update. Now where is final battle Thor?

Really?! 1 figure in a 2-pack and 2 were Build a Figures. This is an extremely nice set just getting tired of Hasbro pulling this crap for those of us fools who bought all the BAF figures to build Cull Obsidian and Thanos. Im with Bo Ttef going to wait for a Black Friday sale on this if it happens. I wish Bandai would make Thanos minions in their S.H.Figuarts series.

While I appreciate the charred head and arm for Thanos, I think the armored Thanos would have been more appropriate and more appreciated. This will be the 4th release of armorless Thanos.

I already have Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, and the 10 years Thanos (from the three pack) but I'm still probably going to get this set. Proxima and Ebony have notably different color schemes and heads (or at least Ebony now has his hair), and Thanos can be displayed differently than the previous version. Corvus feels mostly the same, like maybe his suit is truly black now whereas the original was a dark charcoal color and his gold might be a different tone. Cull Obsidian is appreciably new, I never even tried finishing the BAF because it was so inaccurate. I will wait though for a sale of some kind, the initial price is fair enough for three regular figures at $20 each and two deluxe figures at $30 each but since it's a lot of double-dipping I'm not eager to pay the full $120.

Since this isn't something new from Hasbro, I didn't get many of the characters, actually only got Thanos, waiting for better versions. I got Thanos from the 3 pack and didn't try to get Obsidian BAF, waiting for something like this.

Really doubt to get a black friday sale, considering release day but if it happens, will be inside the pre-order window.

Probably right about it not being on sale for Black Friday if it's still a pre-order, but lately Amazon Legends exclusives have been releasing way ahead of schedule so that date may not hold (the Nimrod set released like more than a month ahead of its initial date). Supposing though that this set's release is more set and it truly doesn't become available until mid-December then Amazon could still put it into their "12 days of deals" holiday sales that lead into Christmas.

I wish they'd put their names on the box somewhere...putting it under their figure in the window box would've been nice. As it is, I couldn't name any of them off the top of my head, except Thanos.

I wish they would have put armored thanos with an un helmeted dome instead of thanos the cable guy.

Amazon has pre-order price guarantee. If the price drop before it ships, it gives you the difference back. The way I see it, if you want this set there's no harm in pre-ordering. If the price drops over Black Friday or something, you get the difference back. This way, you don't have to worry about it being sold-out before you get the chance to order it. Not to mention they have great return policies. You don't even have to pack it back up anymore, just take it to UPS or Kohl's and they'll take it back. Just like returning to a store.

My big pause from pre-ordering the set is that if the price doesn't drop during its pre-order run (special sale or otherwise) then I'll be stuck getting it for full price when it releases, I think the base price is actually fair for what it is but with as many figures as I've gotten lately (and then looking ahead too) I'd like to save at least a few bucks on this if possible. I'm not worried about the set's availability in the long run though because it's an Amazon exclusive set which are never hard to get until they hit that "way too old" point and they stop getting new stock of it.

All valid points. Man, Hasbro's been REALLY draining out wallets lately! This is not a complain, it's great that they're getting so much out so quickly. That just means we have to be more selective. I agree that this set probably won't sell out fast, this is a $120 set of bad guys that most kids don't even know the names of. So yeah, I also think this set will probably go on clearance eventually.

Really doubt the same situation of Nimrod set happened, a release before announced release day is something really rare, particularly with covid situation. I am actually expecting the inverse situation wich is the common thing with pre-orders nowadays, a delay, but even if it is released before release day, Amazon mails you about it and purchase can be cancelled. A pre-order is the best bet, considering low price guarantee, possibility of cancelation and sold out possibility.

But who knows what is going to happen? it is totally understandable to get the best price, I actually got my Thanos 3 set for such a low price on Amazon, of course in that moment the release day was before black friday and xmast season.

Nice set, great for those that missed out. I'm one of those that aren't keen on BAF, one of the reasons I stopped collecting ML years ago so I dont have any of the children.Tempting to have but feel would have been more interested in this if it had come X-mas 2019. But agree with what others are thinking on price, packaging, accessories, etc.

Wonder if a new Avengers boxset will be available? Maybe with Ironman, Captain America, Thor, Doctor Strange and Hulkbuster? It will be awesome.
