Definitely on the odd side. But it's a theme that the Misfits have pushed this year, with this figure, an enamel pin, and a tree ornament featuring the Holiday Fiend.

This one is based on a painting from 1996, featured on World of Fandom magazine. Unfortunately, I can't remember the artist's name.

Not saying it's not weird (I'm certain the real Misfits--i.e., the outfit led by Glenn Danzig--wouldn't have bothered with this imagery), but it's not anything new; the imagery here is established and already well-known to fans.

Me? I ordered one :) It'll look nice on the mantle every December.
