Smooshies by West Rim Crafts
 

Hey all!

I recently have come across this odd item. The company West Rim Crafts went bankrupt in 2011. I've never before seen these.

Anyone have any additional info? They hang up nicely on the wall if left in the package with only a thumb tack.

These are an oddity to me so I had to have them.

After googling online for information...

Here's a 2009 media release on Westrim Craft Smooshies Plush Toys.
And the Internet Archive Wayback Machine saved a copy of the Smooshies website that was still available in 2012.

I've done some looking around as well. From what i can tell there were at least 6 to the assortment maybe more also accessory packs. But I've only found old auctions and stock photos.

Leaves me to wonder what the production numbers might've been being they did not last long.
