Starlight's face sculpt is horrifying.

Can't wait to own these!

Figured this would happen, no real clear cut winner between MAFEX or NECA, both have positives and negatives, but think will be leaning slightly towards NECA. Looking forward to the update with more pics.

I'm liking these over the MAFEX ones. I am glad Starlight is wearing her regular outfit and ya her face sculpt looks weird with the glowing eyes. Hopefully they give a non glowing eyes sculpt. The Homelander figure looks amazing. I hope they end up doing the rest of the cast.

No doubt these will come with standard heads. Everything NECA does in 7 inch now is "ultimate." Homelander will definately need an extra head as i imagine one will be like their SDCC superman and havea socket for the lasers.

These look great, but I really, really hope this isn’t one of those lines where we get at least five versions of Homelander, one Starlight and one other supporting character before prematurely dying.

If they could just commit to doing all of the Seven plus Stormfront as well as Butcher and Huey, I’d be happy.

Sculpt looks like abigail breslin than erin moriarty.

Guess it goes to show how subjective art can be, I think they both look very good and that it is actually a decent likeness to Starlight.

Yeah I think they're both good. Starlight may be a slight bit puffy but not bad at all.

I was definitely going to get the Mafex, and probably still will, but if these are $25 or something I'll probably grab them as well since NECA will go deeper than Mafex and also beat them by about a year to market lol

To paraphrase Dr. Malcolm. "So, Might you eventually have figures of "The Boys" in your The Boys action figure line?"

Where is my Billy Butcher figure??!!

I just hope it's not like Preacher, where we get 2 figures and that's it. I know the Preacher figures did not sell well at all though. So I hope these don't suffer the same fate.

I doubt they'll be 2 and done, Preacher seemed to fly under the radar for most people and the figures were just two guys in plainclothes, way more people watch The Boys, plus they're superhero figures by NECA, who wouldn't want that!? :D

I think one of its biggest hurdles is it's a new license. It's always harder to get casual fans to buy into something that's got no nostalgia going for it. It's why every company has been mining anything "classic" they can.

I thought Star Light was a girl...
