He never wore this suit with the gauntlet AND all the gems though right?

Correct. The closest he got was the start of Infinity War, or in Endgame where he briefly has the Tech Gauntlet. However, promo and marketing shots of Thanos (to throw people off the plot) released for Endgame showed him with the full Infinity Gauntlet I believe. That's what all the toy makers were given, which is why the first waves of Thanos figures all had the Infinity Gauntlet.

Who cares. Does any real Marvel fan want a super expensive Thanos bust where he looks like PED-Fueled Grimace wearing the Lego Infinity Gauntlet? Didn't think so.

That was the Nano/Tech Gauntlet that Professor Hulk used. The below statue is a better representation of the gauntlet he used.
