Pretty awesome, love the snake heads!

Disapointing....it's unfortunate that the only figure of Conan himself that looked any good was the one from Conan the Destroyer that never went up for pre-order.

I (shamelessly) ordered before even looking through the pictures. :o I'm just happy to finally have some '82 Conan figures.

Well this conan looks better than the others.

They're kind of going in order. Someone pointed out that the first wave is the first appearance of each character in the movie. I'm sure they're going to do the Destroyer at some point.

Yeah, that makes sense. And by that logic, that means they still have to get to armored Conan and King Conan before they get to this one but, we'll see.

They said they wanted to wait until the got to destroyer before releasing that figure since the look resembles that movie more than barbarian. So it will come.....eventually

Has Wave 1 even been released yet?

They may be going in a movie order for the Conan figures REVEALED so far, but they are clearly skipping some of the other costumes he wore in between his Pit Fighter scenes and the temple infiltration here such as him in the wolf pelts or the metal chain armor when he goes out to find the snake cult after leaving Valeria. And on top of that, where's any version of Valeria or Subotai or Mako's wizard? Should we assume Super 7 isn't going to bother doing those characters at all, or they couldn't get the likeness rights for any of them? It's going to suck getting all these Conan variants but no figures of his allies. If "Wave 2" was just that one figure, and "Wave 3" is a measly 2-figure wave compared to getting 4 figures in the first wave, then that suggests they either can't or won't be doing any version of Valeria, Subotai, or Mako in this line when either one of these waves could have been a full 4-figure wave like all the other Ultimate waves they do. :(

Bryan Flynn posted on Facebook on Jan 15 that Wave 1 started shipping as of that day. So hopefully we get them before the end of January.

Yeah, that's what it looks like to me. A 2-figure wave 3 and S7 retroactively making the one-off movie pose Conan a wave 2 figure sure seems like they're pretty much done with this particular movie.

... YET!

There has been 3 Conan movie Ultimates so far so I wouldn't get your hopes down yet. ;)


I bet give em time, they will surprise us on new characters. I bet they just wanna make sure the characters they do pick sell. Also licensing and paying for so many characters/actors fees all at once just doesn't seem as feesible as waiting and doing it kinda like NECA is now on Alien/Aliens. ;)

Agree with some of the others. If they arent going to make some of his allies/companions, it would be a huge blow. Makes me glad I'm no longer big on completion. Will just be waiting on that Destroyer version, that great headsculpt makes me look past those over-sized delts. But that Thulsa Doom Serpent version does look good.

lol. If they ever get to Valeria, they could do a GITD variant or at least some kind of clear plastic version.

Anyway, if S7 is gonna continue doing these as weird one-offs instead of a proper line, I hope they do a movie poster Conan with the spiked helmet. I've wanted a figure of the particular version for literally decades.

I hate snakes so ill just keep the james earl jones head on it, i mean its james earl jones for cromms sake. :D
