Good for them. They should take a page from Mattycollector and keep core characters like this in production and in stock for longer periods to help bring in other collectors that jump into the line late. I remember Mattycollector having He-Man, Skeletor, and Battle Cat constantly in stock for a long time.

They should have offered it in some kind of bundle. You drop $500 for a vehicle you need the figures to go with it.

Is Wave 2 being delayed now? I noticed BBTS just changed the release dates to 4th Quarter 2021 when it said March before this.

Odd for Wave 2 to come out after Wave 3, which is scheduled for June.

Wave 2 is getting a new production run. Pre-orders are being opened back up.

Brian Flynn said recently that there was a strong probability of wave 3 coming out before 2.

Panthro and Lion-O are listed as "Variants". What's different?

I pre-ordered Mumm-Ra back in Jan, 2020, so it's already been over a year.

I think Panthro is supposed to have the correct color trunks this time. And Lion o not sure...hope that the variant is that he has the vibrant paint like he did in the original solicitation pics. That was my only bit of disappointment with the figure.

If it's anything like the TMNT "variants" it'll be something innocuous that doesn't matter. They're definitely not going to make actual 'improvements' since that would piss off more people than this is making happy.

And yeah Flynn had said they ran into some sort of trouble with Wave 2 and Wave will arrive first and Wave 4 maybe even.

From what I understood, Flynn said the reason wave 3 might ship first is because it's coming from their new factory, where as wave 2 was at the old factory they were having problems with and they had to move wave 2 production to the new factory which delayed it. Wave 3 was already underway at the new factory, hence it probably coming first since its further along in production.

I’m wondering if all the wave 2 orders will ship together in the summer.

Anyone hear how the tank is doing? I assume well since of the reissues.

Or maybe its struggling to meet its minimum goal and the reissues are a way to encourage more support.

Well...that is what I really thought as well. But lord help me I’m always an optimist. Chatter on the tank has slowed way down. Even I haven’t ordered.......yet.

Yeah a meter graphic to show the percentage of sales so far would be nice, like what Mattel and other companies have done for kickstarters/subscriptions like this before. Instead we're completely in the dark about how well it's doing until Super 7 tells us it has met its minimum goal.

It should have unlocks ala Haslab.

What more could be added to the vehicle itself as unlockable tier incentives? It was pretty toon accurate and complete already. Accessories unrelated to the tank itself or some kind of pack-in figure would be all they could do.

Think it might be a mix of both, I'm sure there are some collectors that didnt jump in waiting for things like confirmation for the whole cast or the main core group would be made. I snoozed on it myself, waiting on certain characters (villains and minor allies) to be revealed or teased. But glad there's a "re-stock."

The price point is high for the IP and I think they should have made price tiers of functionality for the Tank. I know some could care less for working treads, especially if its to be used purely as a dynamic display platform in a case/shelf. I listed a few features I think that should be done to make the price worthwhile, but from what I've seen its basically set, nice features but not enough. If it cost that much it has to do alot to warrant it.

Kickstarter probably would have been a better route.
