Ghostbusters Kenner Classics Ecto-1 and More Coming from Hasbro

Glad Hasbro is listening! a lot of people, including me, answered Ecto-1! when they asked about the next Classic Kenner Ghostbusters toy.

My "I grew up poor and could only afford so many toys" is tingling hard right now.

I wrapped up so many figures as a child using the string on that eyeball *nostalgia tears*

I hope these come to Canada at EBGames and not walmart

Ohhhhhhh I frinkin loved toilet! Bought my brother a sealed one a few birthdays ago. So sad I'll never have a chance to get these because its exclusive.

Any news on if the Fire House is in this wave?? I can't wait to get a Ecto 1. I Never got to have one as a kid. But i can get one now.

I actually saw the entire wave of Ghostbusters at Walmart yesterday. I thought about it but have been spending too much lately; I never even had those ones though so was easier. I only remember having like Egon with the hair raising gimmick. But I definitely had that toilet! I'll grab that at least.

I don't remember hearing that they were making one, would be cool as while it was rather simple that was still one of the best playsets ever.

Why didn't they leave the electronics in? I mean ya can see the hollow lights look cheap as hell,

The original Ecto-1 did not have electronics.

Santa brought me ecto-1 and the firehouse for Christmas in 1986? Maybe 1987? Anyway, I still have both in great condition. I have the ghosts as well, the toilet is faded on the top, so I may upgrade him. But the rest.....maybe for a closed piece. I wish hasbro(Kenner) would relaunch with bigger figures and new sculpts. How about making a ghost that actually appeared in the cartoon? Just a thought.

And.....we need ecto-2 released again.....nobody has the propellers from that anymore!

If the molds are basically the same this is gonna be really great for people who still have the original that lost parts over the years.

I think the ghostbusters extreme ecto-1 had working lights....I have to check.

Really? I'm pretty sure I still do, didn't know those were rare.

With all these encores/rereleases, I wish that they’d bring back the DC Super Powers line one last time (licensing not withstanding). And M.A.S.K. I like toys that are toys and not collectibles. Action features, 5+ points of articulation, and fun play sets/vehicles like Ecto-1.

Are these selling? I see Walmart tends to be packed with all of these and they don't move.

Pretty cool, though. I just sold my original boxed Ecto for $500, so maybe I can replace it with this much cheaper one!

Looking forward to wave 2 of the vintage Ghostbusters line since I was lucky to get 2 sets of wave (2-Slimer 2-Stay Puft & 7 out of the 8 Ghostbusters guys *missing the 2nd Ray). Also looking forward to BWvintage

Anyone know yet what the direct links are for these new Real Ghostbusters items on walmart's site? The Star Wars TVC figures (Papoo, Endor Leia, and ATST Driver) already have links up and shared on other sites in preparation for their preorders tomorrow, so I'm hoping someone already found the GB ones too so we aren't blindly hunting for them when its time tomorrow. Keyword searching on the site results in nothing, even for the TVC figures that already have placeholder links.

About 1 hour to go. This will be like surgery with no Anesthesia.

got the ecto 1 no problem. the link I had for the ghosts seems to be broke and nothing comes up on their collector page or by searching their names. got the star wars figures with no issue as well
