75 dollars for figures that look like this? I mean im all for spending good money for good looking figures but these look like the ones you get at the discount bin at the dollar store.

Am I being to picky?

OriginalFire 04-30-2021 07:54 AM

For me, this means that Super7 will be doing vintage Mirage TMNT stuff as Ultimates which is awesome.

OriginalFire 04-30-2021 07:59 AM

Anybody have any ideas on who we could see ás comic versions from the Mirage days. I haven't read them in such a long time. Any guesses besides the obvious characters, like Shredder and Casey Jones

Spooked 04-30-2021 09:02 AM

I get it, and it's (theoretically) a cool idea, but... This is just embarrassing. I can't see these selling all very well at all. On the plus side, there's no new tooling, so maybe Super7 will come out ahead on these anyway?

What's more interesting is what OriginalFire mentioned above. The idea of them doing repaints of the TMNT Ultimates... Now *that* could be exciting.

The ReAction line is hit & miss. Sometimes the theme & execution really works, other times it come across as pure junk... like these ones here.

Reactions are $18 figures normally, this is just about retail for them.

Super7 has literally made hundreds of Reaction figure by now. If they weren't selling they wouldn't be making them. Super7's TMNT license isn't limited to anything from what they've said. They're choosing to do toy oriented Ultimates but can do whatever.

Almost nobody takes them out of the package, these cardbacks look fantastic.

I saw ReAction figures being called "ironic" the other day and I will always think that from now on.

Nerdtainment 04-30-2021 01:40 PM

At least when Funko did Re-Action figures they were only $10

$18 is too expensive for these crappy looking toys. They went to $15 after Funko dropped them, then they went to $18 because "the price of oil went up" What a load of shit. Super 7 Makes some really cool stuff, but I don't see them lasting another 5 years.

Eightiesmang 04-30-2021 08:25 PM

The box art looks really nice and overshadows the figures.

All of this is so true ^^^ There are niche collector's out there that buy these up...But I agree with the other folks comments regarding these...

Super7 TMNT figs...
Super7 style!!!....
Look at the card art...
You got to love it..
If you don't....I understand..

Super7 figs are not for everyone...
And to me...
That makes them Cool IMHO =^)
