These look cool. Pixel Dan posed a Mattel interview today with some Origins reveals.

pikajew 05-15-2021 10:16 PM

Darksiders skeletor isn't something I thought I wanted until now

lowsugar 05-15-2021 11:14 PM

Ewww. They look terrible. I'm glad I'm not a completist collector. I'm sure they also buy every related key chains, pop figures, figpins, towels, underwear, etc. This line is a hard pass for me.

Pravus Prime 05-15-2021 11:23 PM

I'm guessing these are 5 inch scale?

Runamuck 05-16-2021 01:22 AM

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I am not feeling these at all.

kingkatt8z 05-16-2021 02:32 AM

They look like really cheap made for children age 4 to 10 figures to me. Pass.

RamenRider 05-16-2021 04:17 AM

Not a fan of how they portray He-Man, but that Skeletor design looks rather awesome actually.

That's their target demographic I would assume, yes.

deecee4 05-16-2021 05:51 AM

Not liking the figures (they're not intended for me anyway) but I'm actually digging the Disney Infinity-esque stylization that the characters seem to have on the show.

Robogeek28 05-16-2021 06:11 AM

Something for kids, and something for adults.

Cool.

Black Arbor 05-16-2021 07:22 AM

I dunno, I know they're not for adults like us, and maybe it's just nostalgia talking... But I feel like even the kids who grew up on MOTU 200K had better figures than these haha

Harbinger 05-16-2021 09:10 AM

Even for kids toys these look atrocious.

Q Prime 05-16-2021 10:32 AM

Yeah, you can't tell me they look bad because they're made for kids. Jazwares Fortnite 4" line is also technically made for kids and those are like shrunk down 1/12 figures. Maybe these are the cheaper titan figures and there will be smaller somewhat fancier figures.

Not really. Certainly not in the way that Mythic Legions are very obviously scaled-up 4" figures.

ShellyBoy 05-16-2021 08:47 PM

Judging from the box designs, skeletor’s articulation (or lack there of) and how it scales with the hand holding the box, I’d be willing to bet that these are the cheaper, larger toys for the line. I could be wrong though.

omniriven 05-17-2021 09:58 AM

Cool!

I'm really digging these, it's a style not yet done with Masters of the Universe. Reminds me of the Fall of Cybertron designs, smaller lower body and bulky upper body.

They look to have more than basic articulation. Can't wait to see how Teela would look.

The Revelation figures also look cool, I'll end up collecting both lines. I hope they make a new game, PS2 is like eons ago.

goliathfasa 05-17-2021 12:55 PM

Wait is Netflix putting out 2 He-Man series simultaneously?

Or is this made specifically to make Kevin Smith's version more appealing?

Autobotsrollout 05-17-2021 01:47 PM

There might be a fandom for these but I'm not feeling them. but whats great are options, origins, revelation, and these, Motu is thriving at the moment and thats awesome!... im perfectly fine if they want to do a line and I can save money by not needing them... motu, transformers, joes, and Tmnt are running me broke as heck as it is lol

Blamo 06-14-2021 04:05 AM

Wow

Wow what a neat set of toys for my kids or younger relatives and not older collectors. I sure hope said older collectors arent complaining and whining on online forums.

I hope that was sarcasm, otherwise you're living under a rock if it isn't.
