They are really milking this one character for all he's worth, aren't they? I'm annoyed with the double and triple dips for this character. They JUST shipped out the beskar armor Mando figure and are now revealing an updated version with unmasked headsculpt. Wish I had waited on that one. I might just wait until season 3 comes out in 2022 to see if his costume has been altered again, prompting Hot Toys to release a 4th Mando figure (hopefully with an unmasked headsculpt again since that's the only thing I really want). I can justify buying him again if he'll be in a different outfit, but not the nearly identical figure here that I just received, just to get an unmasked head. Sigh...

Nor should you have to justify it. Hot Toys used to be innovative. "Oh, you say a 1/6 Batmobile can't be done? Challenge accepted!"

Now they're just lazy and on top of that making people like you feel like s*** for being a good customer. "Yes! Finally! My HT Mando is here! Wait, what?! You're releasing ANOTHER one with a better design and more accessories?! WTF?!"

I guess the truth is, outside of Disney SQ and Marvel, nothing else makes money for them.

Yeah, they are becoming as bad as Sideshow was when it comes to Star Wars figures, just doing cheap and easy repaints of existing armor/body sculpts instead of something all new. I got so sick of Sideshow churning out so many clones in their last few years of 1/6 figures instead of doing more main characters from the films or more aliens.

It really is insulting that Hot Toys is so quick to solicit a preorder for this figure right after shipping out the previous beskar armor one, and yet in the mean time we're still waiting for preorders for so many other figures they've teased in the last 2-3 years that would sell just as well like Bespin Han Solo and AOTC Padme Amidala.

Hate those black spots on the shinny besker armor!!

Why can't HT just leave good enough alone?

I'm assuming that's a concession to QC; any bare spots due to errors in vacuum metallizing will show up as black marks in the finish, so making black spots part of the finish reduces the rejection rate of the plated parts & potential customer returns over figures without perfect finishes. And specks of "dirt" is a lot cheaper to do as a paint op than preshading would be

Wish they would have added the swoop bike with the deluxe set. Definitely getting the deluxe.

I'm so glad I waited for this! This has everything I could want, all included in the standard version! This will be my first ever Hot Toys and I cannot be more excited. It's perfect!!!

People have been waiting for S2 Mando I don't know what you guys are on about. The armor has different parts than the first season.

This isn't like their lazy Iron Man reissues.

What, did you want HT to not do S2 version at all because you bought S1 Mando?

Don't you just love people constantly complaining about HT yet will buy one of their figures in an instant?

This looks great and sometimes I guess some are newer Hot Toys collectors and others arent. This is to be expected from HT and also why I dont collect the 1/6 scale. Have enough friends who do and though they have many excellent pieces I know overall cost and pros/cons of having them.

Still gorgeous piece as was expected and hopefully those that saw the tease back in October were ready for this.
