Meh, call me when they have the rights to make a replica of the movie version :p Plus, weird that it's releasing during the summer...

Okay, that's a surprising release (especially this time of year as noted above) but being a re-pop of the Tiger version is both disappointing and confusing. They're a Hasbro subsidiary and presumably if anyone still has the old tooling it'd be them. Did Funko buy the old molds off Hasbro or recreate them?

That said, the old ones go for truly silly prices on eBay, high enough that I've been tempted for years to part with mine, so this is probably a very welcome release for a few people

Urgh... there goes the value of the original that I spent years tracking down for a semi-decent price. Well, I guess I could always get another to open and play with.

Well, this is unexpected.

I remember having the original one that first came out but it came with a boomerang and disc launcher. Eh if I happen to come across this when I'm at Walmart I might get it.

Been awhile, didnt think the original release had the projectile launching gimmick. If that's the case then shouldnt be too sore for those who got the original since I have a feeling with how rules are in recent years this would just be light and sounds only. I'll still wait for someone to make one with all the bells and whistles. One of my favorite Xmas classic films when Arnie wanted to show is comedic talents.

Anyone think this will be released in other stores or is Walmart it and I missed it again :(
