That Golden Axe Dead Frame would be a perfect MK Reptile skeleton. Perfect for MK dioramas and Would also look good in Predator dioramas. Kintaro is perfect and it's about time we finally got UMK3 Reptile. Just need MK1 Shang Tsung to round out the bosses of the original trilogy.

Dammit, they went with the SFV look for Juri.

Still no Darkstalkers Felicia. :(

Glad to see Classic Sub-Zero and MK3 Reptile! I'm glad they're being made for everyone who missed out. I hope their accessories are awesome, they usually are.

Agreed...but it's consistent with their current lines. I wish we'd have one of her alt costumes over this one, but it's still very early in development clearly, and Capcom could pull it altogether since it's still pending approval.

I dont think Felicia was ever hinted at...even in the Storm catalog that DAmazing showed off.




Finally, some reveals that excite me!...UMK3 Reptile! Can't wait to see what kind of fatality effects they cook up for him. Acid Bath had to be a given right? A green puddle with a melted hand sticking out maybe?

Yeah... let's not go there. Just do default looks first if you're going to do a character. It makes no sense to do a costume first and then taking years to get around to the default, or just end up never doing one.

Anyways, Dead Frame from Golden Axe 3 is a major surprise. This opens up options for them to do Proud Cragger, which is right up Storm's alley of huge buff dudes, and Chronos, my favorite character in the series. They've actually released a fairly complete roster as far as GA goes, so I'm ok with them start branching out to the sequels. Though it'd be great if they keep going back to do the other basic enemies from GA.

Agreed, but in this case ironically, the alternate costume people want is the look that was her default in SF4.

Correct. The character art Strom showed off when they first announced the Darkstalkers license was only for Demitri and Morrigan, and I'm overjoyed that we're at least getting them. Any other DS characters would be gravy.

Finally, something to soothe the ache from back in the day when Sota cancelled their Darkstalkers line. The prototypes she showed off looked great for their time, but Storm's figures are absolutely annihilating those.

Felicia is probably the second most popular Darkstalkers character after Morrigan, so if these sell well enough to warrant a deeper dive into the license I absolutely think she'd be in line. Hsien-Ko as well.

Funny how no mention on the front page about the new mk11 classics subzero or the mk3 reptile… those are just as new as kintaro.

[In terms of fan service...yes. I'd be willing to argue though that Lord Raptor and Talbain rank above her in terms of popularity amongst Darkstalkers fans and players.

Hsien Ko...I honestly cannot remember anyone ever being excited over her when this game hit arcades back in the day. She'd make for a fun toy though, as she's very toyetic in design.

With Storm's flair for going all out with accessories...imagine how awesome Anakaris would be.

I get that...my only retort to that would be that outside of Ken, Juri has consistently been mentioned as having one of the worst redesigns of all the characters in SF5. It wasn't until PC modders started tweaking it to show more skin that people started to warm up to it...

Hopefully we do get a more classic Juri at some point since the look does appear in SF5...or at least a head sculpt without the stupid eyepatch...

Way I look at it is that Darkstalkers was never a hugely popular series to begin with, and Felicia is someone who has had way more appearances in other, more high profile things than Talbain or Raptor. Your Marvel vs. Capcoms, your Puzzle Fighters, your Capcom vs. SNKs and what have you. Hsien-Ko I might be willing to give you, but I definitely think Felicia is more popular than either of those.

Then they should make that costume for another Juri figure in the Ultra SF4 line. I've nothing against it. I just want them to stop cramming multiple versions of the characters into the SF5 line, especially when there are other favorites people still want to see.

Hell, we don't even have characters who made their debut in SF5. Rashid's supposed to be the protagonist in the game's main story, so why doesn't he have a figure yet? Where's Menat and Zeku? Or G? That just ain't right.

Menat and Rashid would be awesome.
