Question about alternate identities.
 

I was trying to organize all my user accounts. I wanted them all to have the same name. Why are we not allowed to ever change our username? What is the point of this? Is there any logical explanation? I got banned from TFW2005 and I'm pretty sure it was because I made a new account with my new username. I didn't have any infractions or warnings or anything. I just went to the site & it said YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED. Also, what if it was my brother or sister that made the alternate account? They don't even ask, just BOOM! Instantly banned.

I wanted to change all my accounts to Reformatted2086. Is that really such a horrible crime? I just don't see any logical reason for this. Other forums have no problem with letting you change your name.
