Hasbro/Mego unite to make GI Joe figures
 

This is an interesting combination. Cool design. I wonder how Joe fans will respond to this different scale. Its a fun idea for a new era.

I have an enormous soft spot for Mego, but these being double the price of their other (also licensed) figures is lame... those accessories are not worth two whole figures. I mean, the whole appeal is the simple & undeniably "toyetic" quality that comes from trying to represent a character at a low price point. Their charm comes from the limitations, and is what makes the occasional Romulan commander that much more impressive!

Charging $30 per figure changes that style from intrinsic to affected :/
