Is collecting wrestling figures as fun as it looks?

Hogan never went up but according to Mattel they have more coming and are putting more into production to meet demand.

No one seems to know why Amazon did not put up Hogan.

I wasted my entire day on this, but a little at ease knowing more might come.

No, it's mostly frustrating.

The figures that everyone wants are typically the 90's and late 80's, Mattel knows it and this creates issues for fans vs Mattel vs Scalpers.

I've had rotten luck with wrestling figures all year lol. It is what it is I guess...I'm just at the point where I'd rather do without instead of paying almost $50 for a $20 figure. If this was the main thing I collected, I would definitely be frustrated.

It's been pretty good in terms of Ultimates. Hasn't been too difficult until recently with Classic Hulk Hogan. Some I've not pulled the trigger cause of meh facesculpts or lack of interest in wrestler. I'd want an improved Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair for the future and considering they've done 2 Cenas, Triple Hs, and Hogans I have my hopes.

Where I am at I would say Wrestlers are the first figures to go since kids actually buy them too... which didn't bother me before, but now I kinda want that Ultimate Stone Cold, but I only ever see Flairs at my Target. I also kinda want the upcominig Ulitmate Cena and Rock, but those two guys are probably even more popular than Steve Austin... so they will be even harder to find I bet.

That live stream was a silly bonkers way to reveal stuff, I haven't experienced that with other brands and am at arms length with Wrestling. It was fun tho.

However, at the same time, they were promoting and selling exclusives via one outlet that sold out instantly, didn't go live a second time when they said they would, and were doing it again with another two. Which if I was a collector of the line in full, would piss me off (see: G.I. Joe Classified).

Was able to grab Hogan earlier today, which had a release date of October...

Now I just got an email from Amazon telling me it's been delayed...until August of 2022!!! WTF?!?

Yes, and I didn't realize it was 2022 until I read your message. I was like ooh, it's showing up earlier, sweet. (I rarely know what day it is).
