I'm excited to see the hidden accessories for Shang Chi! Hopefully they are revealed after the film starts streaming and not necessarily when it is released this weekend (not going to theaters while the pandemic is still going strong).

These both look pretty good and liking that they come with many accessories. I'm passing though unless the movie blows me away I guess and it helps that they're companion figures to pose together.

I believe it has a 45 day theatrical run window, then it goes to Disney plus.

Man, these look boring and uninspired.

These look great, but for as many action accessories as they have, they both need a 2nd head sculpt without the iconic Hot Toys 1000 yard stare. They both need an action face.
My guess is that Shang Chi's accessories will just be the rings. They probably thought they'd keep that a secret longer, but it's already in the trailers. And one of Wenwu's is that ring grappling effect, which would need Shang Chi on the other end.
We'll see if the movie wins me over, but Wenwu just looks SOOO boring as a villain. He looks like the district manager of a Staples. I can't buy that haircut on The Mandarin haha.

The movie was pretty good but not amazing, but as an old-school Hong King Kung-Fu movie addict I was prepared to be unimpressed by the fight scenes, but I was wrong. They were actually very good, especially the bus fight near the beginning. The soundtrack was fire also.

The main problem was that the movie was too long and dragged in spots. And also **SPOILER ALERT** the plot with Wenwu "hearing" his dead wife's voice was kinda dumb, because no one actually tried to explain to him that it was really a demon trying to manipulate him. Shang-Chi would just be like "that's not her talking to you" without saying anything else like a real person would do. The after-credit scenes were kinda lame too (aside from the karaoke bit, lol).

And shockingly, Awkwafina was not an annoying fucktard. She struck a nice balance between funny and serious and I actually felt she worked well in the movie unlike most douchebag comedy sidekicks, like Kat Dennings in the Thor movies/Wandavision.

I completely agree with you Dolemite. The hearing the dead wife seemed like it shouldn't have worked on Wenwu. He would have been smarter than that. But maybe he wanted to hear her so bad that he ignored the issues with it.

In my opinion there were a LOT of things wrong with Wandavision and Kat Dennings was one of the most annoying. I really wanted to like Wandavision but just couldn't get into it. I felt the same way with Falcon and Winter Soldier and Loki. (The Cap / Falcon HT figure is BADASS. I need that).

I'm still thinkinging about picking up the Shang Chi and Wenwu Hot Toys. I really enjoyed the movie and like the figures.
