ML Maestro Mod
I’m not much of a customizer, but I thought I’d give this a go. I was excited to add Maestro to my Legends collection, and this head sculpt is one of Hasbro's best of the year, IMO. Even though he's sometimes drawn unshod in the books, I wanted Maestro wearing boots. The lower half of the Juggernaut BAF was the best thing I could think of, so I got what I needed off eBay and went to town.
He’s by no means perfect, but until Hasbro decides to give him their 2.0 treatment, I’m satisfied with the result. In order for him to be the proper height, I left a slight gap between the ab section and the pelvis. The soft goods sash covers that well enough. I may come back and add some weathering to the boots, but I feel like the exaggerated musculature of the Juggy legs don’t really need any further augmentation, so those will stay just as you see them. For paints, I primed the legs, then did a few light coats of Testors spray enamel. The boots were done with some mixed Tamiya colors. The sash was bought from eBay seller GPSLot. |
Awesome! Keep it up sir!
