MOTU Masterverse Revelations Wave 4 Official Images – New Eternia He-Man and Skeletor, Teela, Mer-Man

Teela looks good but I really miss the one piece swimsuit.

She looks more like a generic fantasy warrior here than Teela.

That Skeletor is a major improvement over the first release in every measure! It will be mine!

I can't tell for sure, but He-Man and Skeletor look to have slightly larger heads. If that is the case, I will be in. Might be my wishful thinking tho analyzing the pics.

I wish Teela had her epaulet cape, especially since they gave Skeletor a cape.
Now do God-Lyn next!

I'm really hopeful they will do a classic Evil-Lyn next. I have always wanted a decent Filmation-inspired Evil-Lyn. The MOTUC Club Grayskull Evil-Lyn was a major disappointment.

Still baffles me why they have such a hard time sculpting He-Man's head... Will definitely skip on this one, already got a really nice alternate head for the revelations one.

Skeletor's heads are more proportional for sure. I'm impressed how many new pieces these have too for what I assumed would be simple accessory upgrades! I see new shins, loincloth, belt, head, and shawl/ shoulder armor at least!

Teela and Mer-Man are musts. Might get the New Eternia figures too but aye, we'll see. My mate hooked me up with fantastic custom heads for the Revelation He-Man and Skeletor. One of the He-Man ones is even what my avatar here is of. lol. A lot closer to the on-screen depictions than the Mattel head sculpts are and considering they're custom made and come painted they're good value for money at $20 for regular head and $25 for open mouthed head (yea, yea, I know how that sounds lol)

Eh she looks super Teela to me, especially with the tiara head sculpt on. The long haired one is from the scene where she quits the Royal Palace Guards at the end of the first episode. It's a bit strange they've used that head as the main one for the stock photos when really it's the alternate but aye there you go. lol.

Aye, maybe. I really like the tweaks my mate made on his wave 1 Skeletor though. And he's using custom heads on Skeletor and He-Man I linked above too (he's the one who told me about them lol)

Not bad! But I want a more standard Skeletor, which these seem to be :D

I was going to skip Masterverse figures and just stick with my Classics collection until I saw the two New Eternia concepts.

I have the He-Man and Skeletor preordered (this might be the best Skeletor head sculpt ever done; MOTUC never had a good one). And I guess I will get Teela too, even though the outfit isn't that great.

Aye fair enough. This New Eternia Skeletor and He-Man do look like they've got the extra parts for a traditional in addition of the new looks. lol

Nor I, mate, but I set up a 'burner' account just to do business with the chap because I couldn't have my he-man and skeletor carry on with the mattel heads they had on when these custom ones exist lol.

Aye, if you zoom in you'll see the eyes are wonky as fck too lol. It's bizarre how Mattel have so many misses with the head of their flagship character lol. We shouldn't feel the need to spend more money on custom made heads but I'm glad we at least have the option when the big ol' toy companies let us down.

I sis a wundar custom and used the head from. 200x fig heman. The skin tones were off but it looks so kick ass. Imma have to get a origins merman cause i hate that bare look. He shoulda come with some chest armor. I took the gear offa vintage beast man to give him armor for the same reason.

I thought that about Mer-Man too til my friend convinced me it makes more sense for a swimmer not to have armour weighing him down lol. Also he showed me the comparison picture of the two outfits Mer-Man wears in Revelation and yeah the armoured version likely requires a whole separate figure because the armour on his arms and legs is different in both too. So now aye I'm cool with the wave 4 mer-man figure and I needs it. lol

By the way I was discussing with my mate just now about that He-Man head on that Viking figure. He pointed out that the head in the box looks better than the one out of the box. THat the hair and eyes are positioned much better whereas the unboxed figure's head looks like a botched copy. So hopefully we're getting the one inside the box lol

Certainly hope that the alternate head for He-Man matches the package sample and not the photos. Not digging that helmetless head. The package sample looks good, and looks like the better Mastervse take on a traditional head.

I may wait for vykor and use that he man head to slap on my regular heman,

I really like Teela's hair down head. I'm just not sure if I need her though since the MOTUC version still holds up.

No real attachment to MOTU, but that Teela is pretty fantastic. Love the addition of the hair-down sculpt!
